"The legend" is one of the best tracks from Fate/Zero anime and Fate/Zero Original Soundtrack 1. Yuki Kajiura did a great job composing and arranging it (you simply have to check the original version). It's a theme of Alexander the Great in mentioned anime.

I mentioned in one of my comments on SC over a year ago that I was going to change my keyboard. In the end I bought Kurzweil SP4-7 - it was about 380 days ago. Nothing top notch, I know, but rather a good stuff for its price and it's short enough to fit into one piece of my furniture (quite hard condition on 76 keys keyboards).
 
Year later I though that it's high time to finally share some of my faulty renditions and on 2013-12-16 I just recorded my simple arrangement of this track (with sadly more than one take to achieve what you hear). Mind that it's not even half as good as original, but maybe someone will like it regardless of its inferiority. There is also a video, which is the first publicly shared video of my performance (without any spectators) on my new (well, not so new by now) stage piano.

I repeated recording a few times, and you hear the last play, which still wasn't as good as it should be. Sorry for the one big mistake near the end. During play I noticed that I finally managed to perform it mostly correctly... and it lead to small delay in playing the notes... I should have played it again and again to achieve almost perfect rendition, but I had to take a rest. :)

Recorded using Audiotrak Maya U5 on Windows 7 x64 in Reaper 4.57 and Panasonic HDC-HS700 (1080p 50p). Audio denoised using ReaFir effect in subtract mode. Video cut, resampled to 720p 25p, mixed with audio, subtitled with ASS and encoded to h264 + AAC into MP4 in Avidemux 2.6.7.

Yuki Kajiura - Fate/Zero OST - the legend [my arrangement and performance]

Ragyo is a mysterious woman from KILL la KILL (キルラキル), a television anime series produced by Studio TRIGGER. There is a beautiful theme we can hear whenever she is shown (only 2 times till the episode 12 IIRC). This piano arrangement is based on the version used in episode 11. Unfortunately I was unable to depict greatness of the original version, so you may be as disappointed as I am after all.

If you're a purist, you may notice that intro here is not what you heard in episode 11. You're right, because you heard only drums (and water) at the beginning, so I could use only the rhythm from them on the piano.

I still haven't heard KILL la KILL OST and allegedly what we heard in anime were some short arrangements of Blumenkranz (4th track on CD). I'll confirm or deny it later, but from OST preview I can tell, that at least beginning of mentioned track wasn't as good as the parts used in anime (assuming Ragyo theme is derived from Blumenkranz).

UPDATE (2013-12-30): I've listened to Blumenkranz and it indeed has this theme, but I'm not sure whether I prefer whole track over arrangement from episode 11 (I mean original one, not mine). What you hear in my arrangement from 0:10 starts at 2:00 in Blumenkranz, what is from 0:34 starts at 3:12, what is from 0:58 starts at 4:00.

Hiroyuki Sawano - Ragyo (Kiryūin Satsuki's mother) theme [my piano arrangement]

One of anime that aired in the last quarter of 2013 and the first quarter of 2014 is Strike the Blood - 24-episode television anime adaptation by Silver Link and Connect. It's adaptation of a Japanese light novel series by Gakuto Mikumo with illustrations by Manyako. I don't know the original light novel and anime was rather average (and often simply bad), but its first arc (Right Arm of the Saint; lasted 4 episodes) had the nice choir theme that I wanted to put my hands on. My work is not a clean transcription in the terms of backing. Purists may don't like it, but tad richer progression felt more interesting for me in the piano arrangement.

Well, you won't hear movements of my own hands, but much better ones! Hands belonging to Carlos Márquez, who played 2 of my compositions before and agreed to play something different this time, i.e. arrangement. It's simple piece, but it became much more warm and shining thanks to him. Sit well and enjoy his great performance.

UPDATE (2014-01-30):
Apparently STRIKE THE BLOOD ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Vol.1 (ストライク・ザ・ブラッド オリジナルサウンドトラック Vol.1) doesn't have the original theme, which is greatly disappointing. It was used quite early in anime after all, so if it isn't in Vol.1, then getting it in Vol.2 is even less likely to happen, unfortunately.

UPDATE (2014-05-30):
Rejoice, STRIKE THE BLOOD ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Vol.2 (ストライク・ザ・ブラッド オリジナルサウンドトラック Vol.2) have this theme finally, as it appeared again toward the end of anime, so we could expect it after all. You can find it on 25th track:

Therefore my track title has been renamed (and artwork was updated too). My arrangement was based on the short version of it that theme, i.e. the one we could hear in episodes 2 and 4 of Strike the Blood. Now, when I heard full piece, I am considering preparing longer version.

UPDATE (2016-05-29):
Better translation of 血脈を継ぎし者 is One Who Follows the Bloodline. But I won't mess with the title of this track anymore. Maybe one day I'll prepare full size arrangement that is also closer to original and then I'll use this better title.

ASSUMED SOUNDS - Person to Joint the Bloodline (TV-size) [my piano arrangement played by Carlos M]

This is the piece that should have been released many months ago. Today (2015-06-01) is Children's Day in Poland, so it's really a nice date to finally publicize what I finished over half a year ago. I originally intended to play it myself, but concluded later what I already perfectly knew - composer should not constrain the music by his own limitations. Beginning and ending "came" to me rather quickly, 1/4 was mostly ready in 2014Q1, but written down only in 2014Q2. Back then I didn't aim for 3 minutes. In 2014Q3 I didn't work on this piece as far as I remember. It was the last quater of 2014, when I finally wrote down some new "plot". At the end of October 2014 I had almost 2/3 of the current track. Eleven days and three extensions later I stopped working on it.

I guess I'll refrain from describing what titular fawn may be doing in various parts of my track. I would lie if I told you that I had very clear promenade that I wanted to depict in the notes. When beginning notes and a few more bars "came" to me, the title became pretty obvious. I think it's not that easy for young deer to really swagger, but youth is full of energy that has to be vented somehow, so it should be possible. Youth is also ADHD-ish, child does one thing, but half a minute later she or he may switch to something different. Anyway, title is only a kind of hint, don't read it too literally.

If you heard some of my earlier tracks, you possibly already noticed that this is my longest composition so far. 135 bars with 180 BPM gives exactly 3 minutes and I hope you'll enjoy these minutes very much!

Fawn swaggers

One year has passed since my last SoundCloud upload.
And I think that https://soundcloud.com/przemoc86/fawn-swaggers uploaded back then remains my best work. But...

On May 24, 2016 my year count changed its first digit from 2 to 3, so I came up with a very simple jingle that proves I'm still alive. Its time signature is 6/8, because I'm from 86 (I doubt 8/6 is even used at all...). I'm sorry if you expected anything longer. There are some motives in my mind that are awaiting being written down, so there is a high chance that my 15th composition will see the daylight this year (and will be tad longer than this one).

Sea waves

Main theme from the great Ip Man movie, not your average martial arts flick, I tell you.
Possibly one of the best Donnie Yen's role. Kenji Kawai, mostly known as anime music composer, did an excellent job too.

I simply had to arrange it for piano and record, as it's extremely powerful melody. It's also my first performance released at SoundCloud. But sadly, I cheated. I recorded different parts many time (even splitting hands) and glued them together, to obtain somewhat better results. I am definitely a poor performer, so even now, embarassingly, it's far from being really good. But I had to stop at one point. Remember to check the original version.

Ladybug flies

First recording and performance of any of my compositions.

Carlos M (http://soundcloud.com/cmdigital) recently asked me if I would like him to try something from my compositions. He was curious if I am open to the idea. Could I reply: no? :-)

He played my SMS - slow, minimal and simple piano piece written in 16.0 bars. How well he played? You have to check it yourself, but I can assure, you won't be disappointed. I was born in 1986 in Warsaw and I still live there. My composing journey started with learning LilyPond (music engraving software) in November 2011. I am not well educated in music, but I like music and I know some basics (nothing from composing field though) thanks to the keyboard playing lessons held in group that I was attending for 8 years (I stopped doing so in 2001).&#13;
