I like hip hop.  I made this song when I was going through a rough period. I made it while losing someone I cared about deeply. Right now it remains an instrumental, I guess you could say I cant find the words. 

Almost Famous

I took on Phantograms remix contest with the intention of building a hip hop remake of the original, a song that would speak to redemption in love.  Ironically, I suffered a loss that was mirrored in the songs message and I found it hard to go on.  It's been some time now and I've missed the deadline but I feel its important to share.

I fell in love with the original as soon as I first listened.  Julien's voice is mesmerizing and Danny has truly hit a home run with his production skills.  I'm happy to be a part of it.  I took a downtempo'd chillstep approach to this track and the end result is nothing more than what I imagined it could be. I'm proud of this track and I hope you enjoy it.
