We are happy to release our label's anniversary compilation called X. A label showcase and an inside peek at our musical DNA, with art for this occasion by the virtuoso Rosenfeldtown.

When we, Emiel and Daksinamurti decided to start the label we wouldn't have dreamed of how it turned out. Now after almost 12 years of running the label we are still amazed by the amount of creativity this psychedelic scene has to offer. A lot of art and music still inspire us, and we are happy to have contributed to the psychedelic culture with what we do. Our mission statement hasn't changed since the day we started – to release psychedelic music away from stereotypes and stubborn boundaries.

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away music played a powerful role in the lives of all beings. From the grand symphonies of the Republic to the primal rhythms of the wild Wookiees, music was a universal language that united the whole universe.

But as the darkness of the Sith threatened to consume the galaxy, the music of the Jedi became a beacon of hope and inspiration. Led by Thelios and the legendary Cantina Band, they set out on a journey to spread the sounds of the Force and bring peace to the galaxy.
As they journeyed from the underwater planet to the mystical land of India, Thelios discovers a powerful connection to the Force thanks to the ancient art of Konnakol and aquatic sounds learned by underwater creatures.
The power of music is stronger than any weapon, and with the help of the Force and their musical skills, they will fight against the forces of darkness and bring harmony to the galaxy once more.

In a realm where starlight whispers loud,
A crafty trixter spun a shroud.
With cosmic threads and laughter sly,
He painted portals in the sky.

"Step right up," his voice did chime,
"I'll show you how to bend through time.
No past, no future—just endless now,
A twist of fate, a solemn vow."

Upon his hand, a prism bright,
Reflected worlds bathed in neon light.
"One drop of wonder, one of dread,
Shall paint your mind in colors spread."

An acid river, an LSD stream,
Drenched the air in a lucid dream.
Time unraveled, space grew thin,
An endless loop with no within.

Through ketamine colors, thick and slow,
The trickster danced in a spectral glow.
Shapes collapsed, then formed anew,
A thousand eyes stared back at you.

"You see," he grinned, with eyes ablaze,
"This world is just a mental maze.
Each twist, each turn, your mind creates,
A universe of shifting fates."

And just as quick as the trip began,
The trickster vanished, hat in hand.
You stood alone, the air now still,
Echoes lingering, sharp and shrill.

Was it real, or was it play?
A trick of time or a slip in day?
But deep within, a truth held tight—
The trickster’s gift: eternal sight.

These elements converge within the immersive world of Psytrance, which serves as both a sonic journey and a tool for unlocking altered states of consciousness. This ones sounding fairly interesting I believe, it manages to hold it's energy quite well. would go pretty nice a bit earlier on in the night. I really like what the Reece dose before the first drop and in the mid like 4mins roughly, bit of a sliding framing device

This Being the first release of Samaa Records, hence, it is named 'Earthstrong' which is a term closely tied to Rasta culture and a term for a birthday. 'Earthstrong' pronounced 'urt-strang' focuses on the principles of empowerment through words and sounds. While the word 'birthday' is literal, referring to the day of your birth, 'Earthstrong' alludes to the concept of cultivating a stronger connection with the earth each passing year, where earth means the international community.
