Pseudo City was slowly formed over a long 2011 in our fair super city of Auckland. The early days of our singer tryouts resembled bad first episodes of NZ Idol, but when nearly all was lost... James Sigley appeared on our doorstep like a knight in sparkly pants and blew our aural expectations apart... Pseudo City was at last complete.

It wasn't long before the band had coined nearly a dozen songs covering a wide range of genres, all the while holding them together with funk/rock roots. Quirky lyrics from guitarist Adam Tebbutt, sung with James' delicate but powerful grace gives the songs a soulful but cheeky vibe, while Antony Wraight brings flair and stuns the audience with his eclectic psychedelic guitar riffs and solos. Cam Arbuckle is the beating heart of the band, literally holding it all together, while Bevan Hurley brings the groove on the bass so much so you'd think he was wearing a velour catsuit.

Which brings us to now... Pseudo City are at the start of their adventure into NZ's music land, with a few gigs under their belts and plenty of facebook likes already, who knows where this might lead...
