Mexico 2 / Waterfalls 3

The first piece, “Mexico 2”, drifts peacefully through an embrace of melody before coming into pieces in the second half, diving into a psychedelic state as the smooth melodies from before dissolve into a cascading sea of crystalline forms. The second piece, “Waterfalls 3”, seems to iterate slightly from the where the first left off, diving deeper into the mind-bending side of sound. Resonant plucks dance through the space, while a spacious beat chugs along, pulling the elements forward with a persistent hat pattern atop a smooth yet powerful bass. As the piece continues, the drums eventually fall away, leaving a raw undulating world of sound which paints a picture of another realm, inhabited by various animated geometries and entities.

Specializing in broken beats with a strong UK influence, Neumonic has made a mark on the Bay Area bass scene producing and DJing Drum & Bass, Deep Dub, and UKG/Breakbeat.  He has been called up for massive shows to support acts like Pendulum, Rudimental, Hamdi and many more in San Francisco. With releases on The Widdler's label Widdfam and Justin Jay's label Fantastic Voyage, Neumonic has been making waves with his productions along with his DJ sets all over California.  His musical influences are endless and we've seen Neumonic spin just about anything into his sets, playing the crowd perfectly and pushing new genres and styles to spice things up.  We are excited for what's next with Neumonic!
