Hope you like the groove to Benny Golson's 'Along Came Betty', real nice tune this, but a devil to play:)

Anyway at the start it's just me on the rhodes, took quite a few takes to half nail this and it's still in two halfs joined together. Then add vibes, then the vibes player jumps onto the second fender rhodes to do a right hand solo. Had to be two keys parts cos' ones doing the groove which is bass and chords, and no third hand, so it has to be a second set of keys for this.
At the start I try to do it all on the rhodes which is extremely difficult for me as I aint that good, maybe one day:) Half way through the solo keys part I play the tune and run a bass line underneath, which I'm pleased to be getting the hang of slowly, so the lh is half on autopilot and I can concentrate on the melody.
