These tracks have been held in the vaults until recently remastered and released for the fans. These tracks were recorded between 1997 and 1998.

This is a tribute mix dedicated to Afterlife Recordz, a classic although underrated imprint from LA whose bands and artists gravitated around the GoodLife Cafe / Project Blowed in the 90es/ early 00es (some of them were at the very origin of those events).

I tried to showcase music from the artists' discographies from all era while trying to keep a musical coherence. Hope y'all enjoy.

Kirby Dominant's roll in the proliferation of Bay Area's storied hip-hop history is nothing short of integral. As an MC, His seminal debut album,  "Rapitalism: The Philosophies Of Dominant Pimpin" was pressed-up in part by grant moneys he funneled from UC Berkeley while as a student there - yet that just one of the many sides of Kirby Dominant. As expansive as the Blowed collective is, our guest Riddlore, is undoubtedly one of it's more integral members. Crucial though is that pre-dating the birth of Project Blowed at its unassuming yet historic venue the Good Life Cafe, Ridd and a few others had a socio/political meeting-group called ABC (African Brother’s Collective) that birthed the community that would then evolve into Project Blowed. Ridd's group Chillin Villain Empire (who started in '84) would prove themselves pioneers in freestyle and some of the earliest creators of political/gangster raps.
