New Wave Bomb Drop

Reggae Rasta Mon'!!! Took me ages to find this song, once I did it was off Youtube, so I had a lot of work cleaning it up, adding a light compression, EQ and adaptive limiter. Alright!! This track, we laid down while we were lounging around the place, mixing around in this, somewhat, new style for some of you. In Brazil, "Funk", stands for a whole other set of concepts you're mostly used to. The modern Brazilian Funk, is well known for its hardcore, groovy, heavy beats. We also put some time (not really) into coming up with the most obnoxious, foul mouthed lyrics as possible, following the footsteps of these pioneers of sound, hahaha, for those few of you who understand a little portuguese, you'll probably get a good kick from it, otherwise, enjoy the groovy kicks and spins we threw along the track. I'm pretty happy I found this one laying around my backup files. This is a track I was working on for a motion picture. A very chillex, loungie, ambient sound. A couple psychedelic noisemakers, some percussive instrumentals, and a DIRE STRAIGHT up clear tone on the guitar!! A little distortion to complement, and BLING!!! This was all recorded LIVE. The guitar was all layed down in one single track, quick mastering around the volume and panning controls, a couple plug-ins, and there you have it. PS. As soon as I was done with the track, I didn't get the chance to come up with a name for it, so we'll just go with something dopey for now, HAHAHA!!! Pee-C!!
