November is officially our birthday month so we're kicking off the celebrations with this mix recorded live from our 16th Birthday at Corsica Studios. It's the early hours of Sunday morning, Tim Reaper & Mantra step up at 5.30am, room 1 is heaving, Moose, Blackeye and Double O are vibing! It's raw, uncut, raggo but totally captures what the last set at Rupture is all about. We were unsure whether to put this up as it's a bit distorted in parts but we hope you bare with us and can hear past the snap crackle and pop and enjoy the beautiful sounds of 94/95 jungle played on vinyl. Nuff love!

This is the first part of an upcoming project/collaboration EP with my friend @brixta23.

The initial inspiration came to this came when I was reading a book called Wolf Totem. Funnily enough, I never finished that book. But I was really impressed by the lives and traditions of the nomad tribes living in the Mongolian plains.

It made me reflect a bit on how our "civilization" makes us lose our ability to coexist with nature, other cultures, species, environments. When people have always known how to do that.

Anyhow, in that book they keep on describing a mountain where they believe the god Tengger lives. They believe that after our death, our soul goes there.

Go climb a mountain/hill near you if you have the time, in the meantime enjoy the track.
