Our competition winner for Sugar Rush is Djane Anastazja!
She blew us away with sublime track selection, creative ideas and groovy full-on vibe that we could not get enough of... Her connection into electronic music started in 2009, and by 2014 she found herself listening to something that had never crossed her path before. From then onwards psytrance was her new love.  
By 2018, Djane Anastazja had performed at events all around the UK, and in 2020 she proudly joined UK psytrance record label:- “Enterrec”, for which her compilation - 'Groovadelic Vol.1' reached No.1 in the Beatport psytrance charts and stayed in the top ten for 4 weeks. We are very excited to have this artistic talent joining us at Sugar Rush!
A huge thank you to everyone who entered, we listened to some highly skilled an imaginative entries that made choosing a winner a tough job... However we will hold future DJ competitions for upcoming events so stay tuned...

This was the best experience of my carrier so far.
1st time opening a party like that. The amount of people running to the floor filling it up within 20 minutes was a magical feeling. It gave me so much happiness to see everyone. 
My track selection meant a lot for me, all the tracks reflect all my love into the psytrance genre.

TesseracTstudio series continues with VISUA‘s exclusive mix.

Rodrigo Raggi is a Progressive Psy Trance artist, that performs under the name. VISUA. In the beginning of his career, he started working as artist with Spin Twist and Echoes Records. Nowadays is part of TesseracT Studio and Global Army Music. He has published tracks In labels around the globe such as Iboga, Nano Records, Blue Tunes, Iono music, Planet B.E.N, Y.S.E, and ofcourse TesseracT Studio, Spin Twist Records and Global Army Music among others.
In 2009 after participating in several compilations, he launched his first EP named Blue Essence. This one includes his old school track “Vishuddha” with Remixes from one of the owners of “Sourcecode Records” Erick Bijil /Liftshift and also a remix from the Israeli duo: “Invisible Reallity”, not to forget the VISUA’s remix to the track “Floating Free” of Vibrasphere, which was first released at the V/A Royal Flush. Shortly after, on 2010, Blue Tunes Records published the second EP of VISUA with his known track named “Nano Technology” which was first released in the V/A Tshitraka Project, Vol 5 on 2008, entitled like that due to an important festival that have place in Germany. The EP includes two excellent remixes, one from Sun Control Species and the other one from Ocean, who is best known for his project Altöm and now Voyager.

VISUA has also worked on many collabs and remixes with artists such as Gaudium, Zen Mechanics, Motion Drive, Vertex and for albums like; “Cocktails” of Liquid Soul, “Remixed Memories” of S-Range, and the list still growing

For nearly four years Visua remained offstage, but not of the music, besides he was exploring his sound was in a stage of meditation and spiritual growth.

It was not until late 2013 and early 2014 that he decided to return with 2 new EPs, one of them called “Codes“ which includes his remixes to Fatali and Motion Drive. This EP was released in the record label “Audio Load Music”, founded by Hannes kittla and Sirko Montagu, owners of the Spin Twist and Blue Tunes Records based in Germany.

2015 was a very active year with many collaborations and officially his return to the scene, with two single releases and 3 Eps. Some of these releses are collaborations alongside artists as; Funky Dragon, Etherica, Odiseo, N.A.S.A, Ioshua and Vertex the side project of Slobodan Gacesa and Nikola Kozic better known as Zyce.

VISUA has also participated on important festivals around the world in countries as Germany, Italy, USA, Greece, Guatemala, Mexico and more around. Always providing to the audience a great auditive experience with his particular style, full of deep atmospheres and melodic lines.

His style has led him to take a place on the dj sets of great artists like John 00 Fleming, Ace Ventura and many more.

In June 2017 The Enterrec Psychedelic Trance Journey Began. Headed by Label boss Champa (a.k.a. DJ Prozak), his aim was to create a new family with talented individuals who he thought deserved the opportunity to push further. Past experience with former labels and after 24 years in the industry led him this natural path to make a label. After only 1 year open Enterrec have achieved 15 releases including 2 full studio albums. Also to add to the list they have started to and pressed 12inch Picture ó disk Vinyls and Audio Cassette Tape. Wanting to keep a record label just that, itís important to hold on to what music sounds like on many formats not only Digital on Compact Disk! In year 2 they plan to push further with many more new releases and events to come. Join them as they grow further into the scene.

In the ancient mythology of the Sanātana Dharma reside some wise teachings about a form of Shiva called Nataraja, the cosmic dancer. In his everlasting, transcendental and blissful dance called the Ananda Tandava, he breaks the boundaries of the ego and thus dissolves the illusions of the mind, allowing the world to regenerate through a process of creation, continuation and destruction.

Psychedelic trance is our futuristic vision of the mythical transcendental dance experience, and those exceptionally crafted pieces of music are the perfect guide to a dancefloor enlightenment. Riddled with symbolic hints, full of creative melodies, filled with hallucination-inducing effects and powered by crazy rhythms, those nine authentic sonic pieces are a brand new take on an immemorial ritual.

Mark has been a fan of all forms of electronic music since he was a teenager. He discovered Psytrance in 2005 and while he was travelling the world in his cruising career he made a point of keeping up with the latest developments in the psy world. 

When he returned to the UK in 2020 he was determined to make his dreams of dominating the country’s dance floors come to life. Known for his slick mixing and intuitive track selections, he keeps the dance floor grooving to a variety of styles including psytechno, progressive and funky full on Psytrance.

He has been dabbling in music production over the last few years, is a resident DJ for Psychonauts in Birmingham, runs a successful club night in Glasgow called Psychedelic Odyssey, and is launching the London edition in February 2024.
