Music from the world and it is a whole world of music. “TERRA” is bare feet dancing alone in the crowd, sounds, touches, colors, smells and flavors. It is liberation through repetition. It is tribal and it is ritual. TERRA is fusion! It is union, conscience, sensuality and fascination. Revealed negatives, sketches that take shape. It is an ode to the ground that roots us and feeds us. It is love, hope, equality and inclusiveness. “TERRA” is a manifesto promoting stairs and bridges, against walls. "TERRA" is me and it's you. "TERRA" is us! TERRA is "Mother". "TERRA" is life!

A good traveller has no fixed plans nor any intent on arriving to a final destination. From the first days of the Techno movement to scoring Hollywood films, Holeg Spies is known for breaking norms and creating immersive sonic creations for the listener to get lost in but even moreso to travel around within.
Pagans attempts to take you off the beaten track; to offer an unbridled musical search, unpredictable, a composition performed by an iconoclastic orchestra of classical, electronic and ancient instruments, woven through with improvisations roaming sound recordings... as a possible reconciliation between our hyper-connected society and the environment.
Meeting and spending time with the Hopi Indians and the Mongolian nomads sourced a deep inspiration behind the ‘Axis Mundi Reload’ project, a powerful musical collection to be released early 2022. Pagans is the second EP to be released ahead of the forthcoming album.
With remix collaborations by Pan Electric (aka Matt Coldrick of Green Nuns of the Revolution) and the legendary Total Eclipse, this Ep is truly a journey into another world.

soundcloud.com/subsetdubs returns with the Aperture EP, which blends live instrumentation with electronic and dub sensibilities.

The upbeat opener Duende Revisited, recorded live at the Brisbane Meanjin Reggae Festival, revolves around horns from an earlier tune, dropped atop a gnarly bass squelch. The moody I Am Earthbound is awash with richly effected layers of guitar and bass, while the dub-techno inspired Habitat is enlivened by melodica. The title track's shuffling dub groove perfectly leads in to the closing Solutions of Synthesis, a deep exploration of the origins of life.

As in photography, the Aperture EP is many-structured, filtering light and sound, and focussing to a point of many colours, moods and emotions.
