I like how this slowly winds down and chills out over the length of the track.  Good stuff!

The Journey Home

Inspired by: Sour Diesel and a mic.  Re-Mastered and rendered as 24/96 WAV so please feel free to download the original... it is 132 MB and much better than the mp3. 

        Drums, electronic Bass, and an Electric Piano form the foundation of this track. The tone is courtesy of Guitar Rig 4 and presented the biggest challenge to the mp3 compressor. Echo effects are all More Feedback Machine. The hard synth in the middle is from NI Absynth through Kore 2. Sequenced and rendered in Ableton Live 8.1.1.

        This version is a great example of Ableton Live 8's built-in mastering effects.

logical conclusion

"kablam" dub builds, breaks down and rewards the listener with sublime texture. you can't really dance to it, but it's still hot.

Owing to the fact that the brain accesses the platonic realm through four-dimensional crystal lattices that reside in micro-tubules, the creation of 'dub king' was as inevitable as life itself. Conditions permitting this 'life' will exist, prevail, evolve, achieve sentience... and ultimately commune with the infinite.
