Very good set, just too loud recorded/mastered for my opinion.

Zlatin is a Bulgarian national, born in 1990 in Varna. It is in 2006 that the artist discovered electronic music, which led to grow a strong passion. After years of exploring, he started to produce his own sound and organize parties with DJs that inspired him throughout the years.
At the end of 2021, he launched his own record label called “NOTYOURTYPE” with the idea of sharing his point of view through different artists that he likes, respects and listens to. The focus of the label is to bring together like-minded people that share the same vision of music.
Aside from his numerous independent releases, throughout time Zlatin has also collaborated with labels like Solido Records, Fratii.ro, Spacefunk, AudioMutz, Stamp Records, Soblazn, Aprapta Music, Samani, 4Plae, Deep Department, Lethal Script Label and minim.all, only to name a few.
Zlatin opens his performance with granular organic noises, glitches on top of a solid groove. The focus goes naturally on the abstract developing atmosphere, that slowly mesmerizes the audience. This atmosphere can be at times really complex and on the real side of the matrix, with restaurant backgrounds for example, or, totally acousmatic mind bending soundscapes.
The audience revel in a very large panel of sound curiosities: oriental instruments, great percussive moments, dub vibrations, birds, acoustic drums and a double bass, only to name a few.
The overall mood of the narrative is really, really dark. The artist put emphasis on vocals to strengthen this murky feeling all over the performance, with pitched voice artefacts and sound design. The vocals can also be more definite, like this spooky baby crying and his mother going, “Where are you my baby?”, or what seems to be a documentary on incest in some remote region of the world.
In the end, Zlatin’s act will take any listener into a deep flawless journey. With sleek and intricate details at every listening, great dynamic range designed to surprise the listener, you will not come out of it intact!

For this twelfth Minimadelic podcast, we are thrilled to have with us an up-and-coming artist of the Peruvian scene: Zepovek. He begins his performance with a deep and mysterious introduction, which in a dissonant crash gives way to a wild rhythm. The minimalist and malicious tone glue the listener to the seat and propels him into an evil and sexy frenzy. The selection is absolutely remarkable, with seamless transitions and perfect cohesion of the sounds: musique concrète elements are omnipresent at all times and add to the complexity of this piece. Although of a rare meticulousness in the details, the performance is characterized by a refined groove and a uniform atmosphere, contrasted by some extraordinary elements: a saxophone and grunts, sung murmurs, or ethereal vocals.
Zepovek brilliantly masters tension throughout an introspective soundscape that is at once evocative, abstract and passionate.

Pour ce douzième podcast Minimadelic, nous sommes ravis de compter parmi nous une étoile montante de la scène péruvienne : Zepovek. Il commence sa performance dans les règles de l’art : une introduction profonde et mystérieuse, qui dans un fracas dissonant, laisse place à un rythme endiablé. Le ton minimaliste et sournois colle au siège l’auditeur et le propulse dans une frénésie maléfique et sexy. La sélection est absolument remarquable, avec une parfaite transparence dans les transitions et cohésions des sonorités : la musique concrète est omniprésente en tout temps et ajoute à la complexité de cette pièce. Bien que d’une minutie rare dans les détails, la performance est caractérisée par un groove épuré et une atmosphère uniforme, contrastés par quelques éléments extraordinaires : un saxophone et des grognements, des murmures chantés, ou encore des vocaux éthérés.
Zepovek maitrise la tension avec brio tout au long de son histoire, un paysage introspectif à la fois très évocateur, abstrait et passionné.
