Finally, @newnumbertwo aka Wallace Winfrey, one of Sorted's founders and reluctant chief resident DJ releases a mix in the Sorted Series. Recorded at the first Sorted Weekender in March 2022, this near 3-hour set was recorded to 4 tracks - a stereo feed from the mixer and a stereo feed from a Rode NT4 microphone pointed straight at the crowd, then mixed down to stereo.

"This set was a lot of fun to play, was definitely feeling it - I would get things really cranking, then would pull back because I'd imposed a misperception on myself that opening DJs really shouldn't go so hard - I needn't have worried, as Ben UFO was playing after!"

Starting with dub techno and then moving into heady garridge followed by a steady flow of breaks, techno, dubstep and UKG, newnumbertwo's set feels a lot like the typical flow at a Sorted.

"After a brief interlude that brought back memories of GQ/Kenny Ken telling people they needed to move their car (from the SR remix of Hackney Parrot), I finally got up to the end of hour three and was feeling like Digital Mystikz' Anti-War Dub was a good way to close things out given the Russians had invaded Ukraine earlier that week. Ben finally arrived at the venue (an ice blizzard had touched down that night, which made travel precarious and the party all the more vibey) and told me when he walked in and heard those bass tones, it felt like home. I dropped one more track - Rob Smith's B Line Fi Blo, and then sat on the recording for almost 2 years. I'm glad to finally put it out in the world"
