What a year..... WHAT A YEAR! Can we just say if it wasn't for the gift of music 2021 would have been grim. How lucky we all are to be able to come together to celebrate music in our own way.

If you are reading this, you're likely to be following BOC to meet with like-minded people. People you would share a dance floor with and connect on a level that doesn't need words. Artists you can actually share a drink with at shows because we too are on the dance floor feeding off of the same feeling.

This is the reason we do this, this is why we as a label put so much energy not only into releasing music but bringing new artists into our fold, forever expanding on what it means to build a community. I think it would be impossible to relay how many demos we get per year, but we listen to every single one of them.

By now you should know that this is what Litterbox is all about - fresh faces and big basses. This round we have a proper heavyweight crew from all over the world, pushing the BOC sound to its limits in every direction.

My goal with “No Love” was to take elements of 90’s Hip Hop and R&B and place them within the context of my “Future Ghetto” style. I chose to sample TLC because “No Scrubs” is a true staple of 90’s R&B culture, and I wanted to see how vocal elements from the classic could convey a different vibe when paired with deeper instrumentation. I think the marriage between UK House style basses, trap percussion and TLC’s vocals offers an incredibly unique, novel and emotional take on R&B -  I hope my fans dig this one!

Mark Starr had been chatting with Brazilian producer and DJ Bruno Furlan for a minute regarding a Perfect Driver release. The final decision for his new single 'Butterfly' came about via random tweet early in December 2017 with Matthew Anthony. The tune was sent through and listened a few times in Matthew's car while cruising over to BOTs in L.A "I was pretty much sold right away, but ran it past BOT who agreed, it's good! We both struggled to put a genre on it however. That's always a good thing. The closest we could really come up with was Fidget, but newer. Ha!"  Bruno has most recently released on some of our favorite labels including Toolroom, Relief, LouLou, and Moom. We couldn't be happier to be putting his music out on Perfect Driver.
