What a year..... WHAT A YEAR! Can we just say if it wasn't for the gift of music 2021 would have been grim. How lucky we all are to be able to come together to celebrate music in our own way.

If you are reading this, you're likely to be following BOC to meet with like-minded people. People you would share a dance floor with and connect on a level that doesn't need words. Artists you can actually share a drink with at shows because we too are on the dance floor feeding off of the same feeling.

This is the reason we do this, this is why we as a label put so much energy not only into releasing music but bringing new artists into our fold, forever expanding on what it means to build a community. I think it would be impossible to relay how many demos we get per year, but we listen to every single one of them.

By now you should know that this is what Litterbox is all about - fresh faces and big basses. This round we have a proper heavyweight crew from all over the world, pushing the BOC sound to its limits in every direction.

Why are you a freak?
I am from the U.S. but I have had the opportunity to live on and off in Germany for a few years so my sound is a mixture of those influences.
The music I make tends to be sporadic within the sub-genres under house music. I make tech house, bass house, techno, west coast tech house, and it all somehow fits together quite well.

Most unbelievable moment:
Jolt EP drop with Toolroom’s Strangelove. I had previously self released my first EP and then I got the contract to be on a label with artists like Steady Rock, OMNOM, Astronomar, and NiQw. I was very surprised I was getting a release like that so early on.

Favorite dish:
‘Mother’s Weekly Special’
It is a homemade red sauce, pasta, topped with basil, balsamic reduction and feta cheese.

Favorite freak / why:
My best friend, Cassandra.
She exposed me to Western Europe, specifically music culture in Germany.
We have been able to travel a lot and it has been a big influence on my sound.

Favorite place to be:
Disneyland

Colossi Rah in the future:
I want to try my hand at more techno, continue to make a diverse array of house music, and expand in the variety of labels that I am on.
I have also wanted to do more in the art world. I started to collaborate, choreograph, and compose contemporary dance pieces with a dancer at Netherlands Dance Theater.

[PREMIERE] Colossi Rah - Good Side [We Are Freaks Records]

You've probably already had a day where everything seemed weird, nothing is really as it should be, and you wonder:
What's going on today?
David Moon better known as 'Moonlight Fiziks' was on top of a coconut tree and told us that his day was totally weird, he took advantage of this moment to create two insane songs.
The main track is called 'Get Weird', the name says it all, this song is weird! you will have your timbres in your mind for a long time without understanding what is happening around you, your synths penetrate your mind like an arrow accompanied by a serious acapella and whispers from beyond!
To complete the EP we have the song 'Back it Up' which follows the same characteristic of the first track with a serious acapella and synths that will torment your night.
