Mikey Lion is back with a new house anthem. "Breathe," featuring the soulful vocals of Saraya K, has been a secret weapon in his sets for years, and now it's finally getting the release it deserves on Desert Hearts Records.

"I've always wanted to make a diva house track, and working with Saraya on ‘Breathe' was an incredible experience," says Mikey. "Her voice brought a whole new energy, adding so much depth and emotion. I'm beyond excited to finally share it."

Fluffy coats, brimmed hats, and bum puffing a Cuban—this is the vision when we hear this new track from our boy Lowdown.

Following up on his release from last year, we have his new record, Two G's. It’s fast and sharp, like that pimp who’s taking your money. A pitch-bent saw wave adds just enough fidget to the track while maintaining its funk and keeping the dancefloor moving. This one is definitely a party starter, and we’re excited to bring it to you.

It’s the 1980's. Your hat’s on backwards, you’re rocking ripped denim jeans and you’re ready to rebel. You pop in your latest cassette, and it’s the most gangster record you’ve ever heard. It’s got you cutting shapes down the street, flipping off the cops as you throw your last fks you have to give out the window. This is exactly how the new Kyle Watson record makes us feel.

It’s a slap in the face to the pretty things in life. If you’re a flower, I’d suggest you run. But if you’re a ho, this is your time to shine.

“At Ya” is a nasty track packed with a thick bassline and chunky drums, all sprinkled with the signature K Watson energy you’ve come to expect from the maestro. Let the tune do the talking—just hit play.

Steve Gerard & ZOF are no strangers to the BOC family; at this point, they’re kind of part of the furniture. Not the kind of furniture you'd find in a house, though—the kind you'd find at the afters. A sluggish old couch, a few stains (of unknown origin), and a coffee table covered in the past 24 hours of mischief. If these walls could sing, they’d sound a little like this new banger, Obsession.

The track itself is a dark groover, set behind the seductive vocals of Zoë Roubanus, aka ZOF. Steve and ZOF have sculpted the perfect record out of their sessions together, delivering a track that will stand the test of time and fit into nearly any set. Featuring detuned keys, clever sampling, and a locked bassline, it’ll have you lost on the dance floor. This one's a true ‘eyes closed’ tune you could listen to on repeat for hours.

This dream team is onto something hot, and they ain’t playing games, they’re playing with beats, bass, and all the good stuff we know we want. Let’s rip!

Topping off Simenga’s great start to the year, we have Train Tooool — a hefty Chi-town house weapon with chunky-as-hell drums and enough train samples to make you feel like you're on platform 12 at Waterloo Station.

Deja Vu and Open Mind make a final appearance, finishing off this amazing EP in style. For an electronic producer, there really isn’t anything Simenga can’t do — and it shows in the incredible range of these tracks.

Probably not our best work, but surely someone found it funny?

What isn't funny, though, is this new beast from Mancodex. ‘Amen Baby’ carries that unique Codex swagger we've come to know from the man himself. Dark tones, never-before-heard synth sounds, and processed vocals—if we were trying to contact aliens, we’d probably reference some of the sounds in this track.

We're always super impressed with Mancodex's take on dance music and what can come from a country so far away, all the way at the top of the planet.

"I finally met Steve Darko in person at NAMM, south of Los Angeles, this past January while playing a set for my friends at Roland Instruments. It felt like an eternity as we've been emailing and talking on facebook without any "real" face to face interaction. He's on the opposite end of the country in Boston coding his fingers to the bone at iZotope (No: He cannot provide free copies of Ozone 8) so I guess that explains why his tunes sound so damn good.
