Hailing from Manchester , Psychosis0161 emerged from a crucible of early-life challenges, grappling with childhood trauma that led him down a path of seeking solace through the haze of weed smoke. Drawing parallels with Eminem's own struggles, many have dubbed Psychosis0161 a real-life Stan, finding a profound connection in the lyrical tales of the rap legend.

As life's complexities intensified, psychosis found himself entangled in the grip of cocaine, for many years, ultimately navigating the shadows of mental health struggles. The journey took a challenging turn, leading to his sectioning under the mental health act, a period that saw him spend a significant six months in the confines of a hospital at the age of 19. The echoes of his battles resonated even during the unprecedented times of the COVID-19 pandemic in November 2021, where he found himself grappling with personal demons as the whole world went crazy. His marriage also broke down through this difficult time and his pain has inspired him into writing music.
