PSYCLONE'S SELECTIONS (UNMADE RADIO SHOWS 2025)

Here's he very first fixture of 'Psyclone's Selections' (Episode 1)! Recorded live via Unmade Radio, every 4 weeks.

Episode 1 being the first of 2025, is all about my favourite tracks from 2024; ones that which I've played on previous shows or out an about on sets, as well as a couple of my signature blends. Listen to find out some info about some tracks you may never have heard of, grab some IDs, or learn a bit more about the artists behind the music.. Throughout 2025, I will be having guest mixes for the second half, so stay tuned for lots of talent, different styles and high energy sets!

This month we have DJ User from Maidenhead with a 30 minute guest mix for the second half of the show. He started Djing in 2022 and we met in 2023 at The Purple Turtle in Reading for WOBZ. Since then he's being playing all over the UK and has even bagged himself some international sets as well! I'm back with May's instalment of PSYCLONE'S SELECTIONS!! Episode 5 brings the amazing female selecta and Portsmouth’s own... DJ Sammy C! She's been igniting the rave scene for years—quite literally. Before taking to the decks, Sammy was known for her fire-dancing performances at underground raves around Pompey, adding an unforgettable spark to every event. Now, she channels that same high-energy passion into her sets! 

This hour show of Drum and Bass showcases through many sub-genres within DnB, including minimal, jump-up, heavyweight rollers and dancefloor sent from lots of local artists, including Vylan, Dio, EASTON, Zesty, Pongu and more!

PSYCLONE'S SELECTIONS EP 6 -  140 SPECIAL!

This episode marks half way through 2025 already whaaaa?! We switched it up this time with some speed garage, breaks, grime beats and more! 

For this special episode I HAD to bring rising star in the scence PRESTi for a 30 in guest mix! 

PRESTi is a UKG/Jungle DJ & Producer, originating from Suffolk, UK but now residing in London. Drawing inspiration from all angles, PRESTi has honed his skills to deliver a unique and intricate sound. In just over a year of releasing music, PRESTi has received support from established artists and DJs such as p-rallel, Skream, Miley Serious, Girls Don't Sync, My Nu Leng, Saint Ludo, DJ Q, Casnova, Badger, Saliah, Denham Audio and many more. In addition to releases on well known labels such as ec2a, Hardline, Locked On Records and Dazed Music, PRESTi aims to bring a fresh and dynamic perspective to the genre.

PSYCLONE'S SELECTIONS EP.7 - DNB THROWBACKS SPECIAL!!

Seeing as my show always lands on a Thursday, I thought this month I'd do a special DnB throwback special episode! IN this show the first 30 mins consists of tracks that I'd downloaded when I first got into Djing drum and bass and some classic DnB bangers! It was super nice to have a scroll back through my collection and rememebr all the great tunes that have come out over the past 2- years :)

For the second half of this episode I had amazing female DnB Dj from Bournemouth, S-ENCE. She absoutely smashed it! She's had a lvoe for DnB since young and as soon as she turned 18 she was out at the raves and has since then become a DJ herself; supporting the likes of Macky Gee, Limited, Crystal Clear and lots more!

Her mix brings lots of heavy hitting deep minimal tracks, as well as some old skool jump up, rollers and more. Whatever DnB you're into she's got it all! Check out this mix and go give her a follow!
