• Antigone est un artiste parisien qui produit et mixe depuis quelques années.
Il a réalisé quelques grandes dates récemment comme mixer à une CONCRETE début juin, au Weather Festival le 7 juin dernier et au Rex Club dernièrement.
Il a sorti en avril 2013 l'EP "The Astral Traveller".
Les 3 morceaux présents sur celui-ci sont des Techno différentes mais toutes tintées très légèrement d'un esprit "Deep". Ce jeune artiste est bourré de talent et on remarque vraiment bien qu'il reprend les atmosphères assez particulières de la "Techno de Détroit" qui l'inspirent apparemment beaucoup.
Cette sortie est quand même assez remarquable car on perçoit à travers ces productions qu'Antigone a le sens du détail et de la perfection. L'EP est sorti sous le label Concrete Music. Elle-même une très bonne maison de disques.

 British powerhouse Alan Fitzpatrick returns to Figure with his second EP on the label after 2009's 'Weed Killer / Science'. Since then its clear that Alan has continued on a dedicated, valiant quest to find his own sound, and the results are on show here, with a heavyweight, emotive and futuristic Techno three-tracker.Like a warm rush of endorphins on the summer breeze, Alan's rich up-building sound is perfectly represented in tracks like 'A Subtle Change', with its jubilant stab-led melody, or the modern club-weapon vibes of 'Trigger Finger'. Harking back to late 90s UK IDM and 'proper' dub-Techno atmospheres, Fitzpatrick then gracefully crafts a down-tempo, space-out version of 'A Subtle Change' for the B-side, providing the afterhours sessioners with a new buzz-track.

The Drumcode A-Sides compilation is quickly becoming synonymous within the techno world as a go to compilation for the hottest tracks that are deservedly A-side material in their own right. Each specific track has it own unique character that brings an outstanding and electrifying aspect to the compilation that as a whole makes it something extremely special. Mixing both highly experienced and new artists has helped to bring a new dimension to the compilation that makes it such a special array of tracks.

HJ002-VA – “Friction”

The second release on Hypnotic Journeys brings together emerging Georgian producers and celebrated names from the global techno scene, weaving a story of tension, resistance, and transcendence.

Batumi-based newcomer Grenuy opens the compilation with a debut ambient piece that feels both intimate and expansive, a slow-burning meditation on space and emotion. His work is reimagined by Van Morph, a revered producer and founder of Khoros Records, who drives the track into deeper territory with an old-school, hypnotic groove.

NFNM (formerly Kapa), a young yet distinctive voice in the Tbilisi underground, delivers a piece of textural techno rich with movement and raw emotion. The journey concludes with a powerful remix by Tsott, founder of the forward-thinking Spira Records, whose deep and cerebral approach brings the compilation full circle.

“Friction” is a testament to Hypnotic Journeys’ ethos: uniting generations, sounds, and visions through hypnotic techno as a futurist statement.
