At the helm of her own record label, Monday Off, Mary puts in the same precision and effort she dishes out through all of her vinyl-only DJ sets. Stripped-back and highly cerebral, her style sits at the junction of heavily dubbed-out psychedelia, liquid abstraction and post-industrialism, and this mix doesn’t differ. Enter Yuzovskaya’s mazy new vinyl exclusive mix with crumbs of bread in your pocket and some red thread, for we’re yet to know where the labyrinth ends. But does it even have an end?

It has had an unwavering depth, headiness and atmospheric richness to it for more than 30 years, which is a remarkable achievement few can match. A famous non-conformist, the Spaniard's top-tier three-deck mixing skills and ability to distil techno to its most hypnotic form have also long stood him apart, as have his Polegroup and Warm Up labels.

Mulero's consistency of sound means you know what you're going to get with this mix: spaced-out, layered and deep techno brilliance. Whether more dubby and roomy or glitchy and intense, it's music for both mind and body from one of the scene's most low-key but high-class veterans. Turn it up loud and look forward to more of the same when he plays at Dekmantel Festival later this year.

Psyk is a key player in Spanish techno, an acclaimed talent with firm emphasis on deep, repetitive loops. He has become synonymous with high-quality, trippy and smart as a tack rhythms. For the last two decades since he started out on Madrid’s clandestine rave beat, he’s developed and advanced a sound to near perfection: raw and technically agile, pelagic echoes from the abyss that have shifted with their changing times. 2011 saw him launch the widely renowned Non Series, a platform releasing the work of similar vein artists like DJ Nobu, Architectural, Neel, Nastia Reigel, Tauceti, Blawan, Luigi Tozzi, Function and Rrose, generating buzz and ardent following. His own releases on labels like Mote Evolver, Semantica and Tresor, intermittent forays on his own label under the alias Maan, as well as his co-project Second Skin (est. 2022) alongside fellow Madrileño Oscar Mulero have been slowly gaining traction in a contemporary music landscape replete with talent. Though the rate of productions is decelerating his touring schedule marches forward at full tilt, adding recent Bassiani dates to those at a list of must-play venues like Fabric, Berghain, Fuse, Tresor and Amsterdam’s shuttered DeSchool. His expert drones and algorithmic beat patterns are in a process of continuing evolution and whatever comes next is sure to be even better than his already outstanding catalogue of work. Bassiani Podcast 258 is an 80-minute expedition into a murky world of Psyk’s design, sweeping and purist techno from this heavyweight selector.

Exponent of a sound both intrinsically rugged yet layered to mind-altering effect, the British producer has been dishing out unstoppable slices of hi-velocity techno laced with a signature stripped-back, psychedelic edge. This new RYC podcast doesn’t veer off from such a direction and we’re graced with a two-hour mind trip boasting both bass-driven warehouse impact and an elegantly-woven tapestry of abrasive grooves, leaning by turn towards atmospheric elation and on other occasions pushing in the direction of utter fibrous, steel-coated industrial pound.
