"Sonic Explorations follows the journey of Scionaugh as he adventures through the plane of infinite possibility, in an attempt to realise his own sonic identity. 

The EP begins as he traverses sludgy swamps thick with atmosphere, encountering a variety of creatures. Some scuttle in and out of existence, while others stay to tell a story with their growls and gurgles. Traversing this land of metallic clicks and thumping kicks, he enters a darker world, one in which the sounds bombard his senses. He stumbles across instruments that are recognizable yet warped and twisted, like the memory of a dream that is familiar though bizarre. The whisperings of alien entities combine with a playful cacophony of squelches, screeches and sirens to create the engaging journey that is Sonic Explorations."

Mindspring not only brings down, and mid-tempo vibes, but are known to push some higher BPM psychedelic music when something unique is offered. Vanta, the newest brainchild from veteran Kri Samadhi, has come to us with a twisted rollercoaster of Psytech adventures aptly named Virtual Particles. Inside you will find 4 tracks that are created almost exclusively from his extensive modular setup. Expect raw and ripping sounds capable of punching a hole into the fabric of space-time, pulling the listener into a new realm of Vanta’s sonic explorations. 👹 The Great Old Ones are fictional creatures, originally from the literary work of the writer H.P Lovecraft.  The concept of "Great Old Ones" remains undefined since it designates several kinds of entities according to the more or less biased perception of the narrators. Lovecraft's most famous creation, sometimes venerated as deities by certain mortals, is Cthulhu, a gigantic, sprawling creature.  

✊ For this compilation, the artists were each inspired by one of the creatures from the Lovecraftian bestiary in order to create a personal musical definition.
