Renegat, born in Hamburg, had a deep relationship with subcultural music at an early age.

Already in the mid 80' he discovered his love for rap and hip hop, whereas scratch-mad Dj`s caused a special fascination in him. At the beginning of the 90's he noticed this new, different sound, repetitive beats, spoken or sung words merely used as a rhythm elements, dragging him onto the dance floors of burgeoning underground clubs. It quickly became clear that he wanted to become an active part of this new music, so turntables and mixers were acquired.

Since the early 2000s, Renegat, at that time releasing online Dj Mixes under the stage name `ReeGee`, has meanwhile combined several decades rave experiences and mixing into a creative bundle; records are no longer cut but mixed in interweaving patterns. After an almost 15-years 'paternity leave', accompanied by first attempts as a producer, the compulsion back to decks and dance floors can no longer be tamed, and Renegat enters the subcultural public again with a new, current sound between psy-tech and minimal, playful, trippy and as driving as it is still for him dance floors.

Now, in 2020, he has found his creative environment within the Sinus-HH collective.

A year after it launched, Pete Tong’s DJ Academy headed over to IMS Ibiza in April 2023, where they announced the winners and finalists of the DJ School Future Talent Awards at one of music’s most important events. They had thousands of students sign up, to send in their mix to be judged by Carl Cox, Pete Tong, Nicole Moudaber, Sama Abdulhadi and Adam Beyer. 
DAHEIN was chosen by Adam Beyer as one of the three final selected winners. This young talent is a Polish techno DJ based in Germany, who got the itch for electronic music after watching Berlin’s Love Parade  when he was just 15. Now his heart plays to the rhythm of the more peak time techno sound with a groovy element.
