Ariet @michalgutkowski returns to his label Psylocybina with an Icaro EP – 4 deep techno cuts inspired by medicine culture around Ayahuasca brew.

The word Icaro is believed to derive from the Quechua verb ikaray, which means "to blow smoke in order to heal". These are the medicine songs used by shamans in healing ceremonies. The EP was built around samples of those songs and the intention to transfer those vibrations to techno music.

The EP starts with Plant’s Wisdom which transfers us into the ceremony with its dynamic tribal rhythms, ambiance, and vocal effects. Song For The Spirit takes us further into the process as leading baselines intertwine with vocal-like pads, groovy rhythms, and nature-like effects. The EP title track Icaro arrives in a more introspective mood as the main melody and baseline lead us through it’s different facets arriving into new territories where extra rhythms and ambience development are introduced. The story ends with Song For Protection where the juxtaposition of driving rhythms, dubby effects, and ethereal pads creates the feeling of arriving home after a long journey.

Twisting rhythms and textured spirals await eager listeners as today we’re happy to premiere Vector of Mind by Italian producer Tiferet. Coming in as the 13th release on Ritualism, Tiferet joins a well rounded group of producers including Vanoni, Adhemar, Daniel[i], Biocym, and more. All diving headfirst into the deep techno and atmospheric realms.

Upping the tempo and in turn the energy, Vector of Mind rounds out the release by keeping a tight grip on listeners through an undulating bassline. Weaving in and around the growls, squeaks and decidedly otherworldly sounds. Or as the label puts it, ‘Subtle elements dissolve and reform and pulsing energy sustains the flow. An atmosphere of surreal fluidity and fusion is conjured, inviting the audience to float freely amidst Tiferet's conceptual vision - an luscious hyperspace where organic textures are energized.’

PREMIERE: Tiferet - Vector Of Mind [Ritualism]

The Swedish duo, Havsmörker, unveiled a four-track EP, "Dimma," in March via Supertraditional Records. On November 15, the release undergoes a transformation with remixes by SGurvin, The Allegorist, and Daniel Troberg. SGurvin, the Oslo-based producer, steps up to the plate for today's premiere, offering a fresh perspective on "Dunderflisa" with a rework that channels the obscure and pulsating essence of warehouse techno.

In SGurvin's rendition, the Scandinavian connection is tangible as the track unfolds into a murky labyrinth of sound. The raw, experimental energy infused by Sigurd Gurvin creates a dark techno odyssey weaving through intricate layers of industrial beats and atmospheric textures.
