1 October 1998 - An Ode to Resident Evil

So the first song for my second solo album has been recorded and here's the instrumental. 8 months+ without practice has killed any ability to scream and has damaged my singing voice but eventually this song will have some of the most unique and coolest sung parts I've ever done. The last minute or so of this track may influence the rest of the writing of this record, we'll see. Right now, exciting times.

It's been a very Resident Evil day/week/month/half a year/year/life for me. I write horror music that is very much influenced by Resident Evil now and then. This is one such piece; a heavy, intense orchestral clash with some kind of monstrous BOW, featuring a callback melody to an earlier ode I have posted.
