My set at the mighty Dance Temple from Boom Festival 2022. This was one of my top selections for this amazing and unique legendary event in Portugal. Marco Riipi, alias "Shenanigan", nació en 1991 y se crió en Suecia. A temprana edad comenzó a escuchar una variedad de música electrónica. En 2006, terminó su primera canción con el programa Fruity Loops y, después de un tiempo de producción de Hardstyle, comenzó a ir a fiestas locales de Psytrance e inmediatamente cautivó su imaginación. Ha tocado en numerosas fiestas y festivales en Suecia y Dinamarca, por ejemplo Forest Star, Spiritz of The Jungle, Skogen Kallar, Electronic Culture. Después de muchos lanzamientos y muchas pistas en diferentes VA's, ahora ha construido una base sólida de su estilo innegablemente único y elegante que demuestra su clara comprensión y percepción de todos los elementos del trance psicodélico moderno.

Marco Riipi aka ‘’Shenanigan” was born 1991 and raised in Sweden. At an early age he began listening to a variety of electronic music. By 2006 he finished his first track using the program Fruity loops and after some time producing Hardstyle he began going to local Psytrance parties and it immediately captivated his imagination. He has played at numerous parties and festivals in Sweden and Denmark, for instance Forest Star, Spiritz of The Jungle, Skogen Kallar, Electronic Culture. After many releases and lot of tracks on different VA's, he has now built a solid foundation of his undeniably unique and elegant style demonstrates his clear understanding and apperception for all elements of the modern psychedelic trance.

Not so long ago, radiOzora was connecting homes for the 3rd time. Here is DUKE & GONZO's DJ set that he recorded for this special event.

The Duke & Gonzo project is a joint effort by the German producers Jonas Kalkreuth and Jan Velten. After knowing each other for quite some time, their mutual passion for music and funky psychedelic soundscapes inspired them to experiment with DAWs and create own arrangements. After a few years of trial and error, the project was born. With the mission to deliver their interpretation of psytrance to listeners around the globe and in the process of doing so, blow their minds.

It has its own special flavour and design, with the goal to create an all encompassing experience that removes you from the mundane and transports you to an interactive psychedelic wonderland, a completely synergistic and harmonious journey from beginning to end. These festival hosts fresh talent as well as headliners, both homegrown and from around the globe, establishing the network that would eventually culminate in the evolution of PsynOpticz from event organiser to a record label.

The mastermind behind PsynOpticz, Calvin aka SwiTcHcaChe, has developed a keen ear for prospective acts, being both organiser as well a DJ. By committing to bringing out new and exciting acts to Cape Town, he uncovered many artists that share his love for non-generic and energetic psychedelic music, and his desire grew to expose this incredible music to the unsuspecting psy masses. Currently, the PsynOpticz stable is represented by artists from around the globe, each bringing their own unique approach and sound to the psychedelic world stage.

The driving force behind PsynOpticz is their ignitable passion and deep love of the culture and music. The label grows from strength to strength daily, fueled by the positive response and endless smiles experienced on a PsynOpticz dance-floor, or anywhere the music is played and enjoyed.
