Blacklite Records series continues with Italian producer, BAO’s excluisive live set.

BAO is the morning full-on project by Nicola Filippini, born in 1983 in Brescia, Italy. He started to play Goa trance mixing tracks and djing during small parties until, by chance, he met Zero, an
Argentine Dj based in Cremona, and they decided to give birth to the “Moonlight Project”. They started to collaborate with bands and labels in northern Italy (LOONEY MOON / BLACKLITE
RECORDS / PSYTRONIC /AYAHUASCA) and this environment stimulated him so much that in2011, he decided to make his own music.
After 3 years of studies and top tips by his friend and colleague Nukleall, BAO got ready to spread his message around and started releasing some tracks mainly on Blacklite and also on other
Labels around ( Delicatek Recs, Speedsound Recs.). His first official EP, called “The Spirit Molecule”, will be out by the end of 2016 on Blacklite Records.
BAO’s energetic and groovy Fullon has already been appreciated in many dancefloors around the globe, such as AwareDance Festival in Bali, Magika Festival in Goa, Resurrection Festival in
Cambodia, Human Evolution Festival (Italy), Odysee Berlin 2016 and Blackmoon Festival 2016 (Italy).

The mastermind behind PsynOpticz, Calvin aka SwiTcHcaChe, has developed a keen ear for prospective acts, being both organiser as well a DJ. By committing to bringing out new and exciting acts to Cape Town, he uncovered many artists that share his love for non-generic and energetic psychedelic music, and his desire grew to expose this incredible music to the unsuspecting psy masses. Currently, the PsynOpticz stable is represented by artists from around the globe, each bringing their own unique approach and sound to the psychedelic world stage.

The driving force behind PsynOpticz is their ignitable passion and deep love of the culture and music. The label grows from strength to strength daily, fueled by the positive response and endless smiles experienced on a PsynOpticz dance-floor, or anywhere the music is played and enjoyed.
