Ingredients:
Olive Oil: Seek the golden nectar of the ancients, only the finest will do.
Fresh Garlic: Eight sacred cloves, peeled under the light of wisdom.
Dried Red Peppers: A fiery handful to ignite the spirit.
Spanish Onion: Finely diced, a tribute to balance and clarity.
Canned San Marzano Whole Tomatoes: Three celestial fruits, harvested from the soil of dreams.
Fresh Basil: A verdant blessing from Mother Earth herself.
Preparation:
Begin by summoning the musical gods—connect to your Bluetooth speaker and bless the space with this mixtape of good vibes.
Heat 250ml of the sacred olive oil in a cauldron over medium low heat. Channel your patience as you confit the garlic cloves and onion for 20 minutes, stirring like a true alchemist.
Call forth the dried red peppers and let their energy infuse the oil for 5 more minutes.
Blend the tomatoes into a liquid offering and pour them into the cauldron. Raise the heat until the potion bubbles—this is the sauce awakening.
Lower the heat to med-low and let the elixir simmer for 1 hour and 30 minutes. During this time, reflect on life, love, or the mystery of existence.
As the clock nears completion, anoint the sauce with another 100ml of olive oil—an offering of richness.
Allow the sauce to rest for 30 minutes, like a sage in meditation.
Before serving, bless the elixir with fresh basil leaves, the final touch of vitality and grace.
Serve with reverence and enjoy as your taste buds ascend to a higher plane of consciousness . 🌿✨

“Recreation” comes from the Latin word, “recreare” which means “to refresh, restore, make anew, revive, invigorate.” This is much different from mere fun or leisure activities. Recreation in its purest sense is meant to renew one’s spirit. To recharge your batteries, remake yourself better, to refresh and revitalize yourself. 

The root word “recreation” as it appears in Old French and Latin is also used in reference to the “curing of a person” and “recovery from illness.” Recreational activities are not just done for fun, but to cure oneself. To become refreshed, renewed, and full of life.

Recreation is an emotional condition within an individual human being that flows from a feeling of well-being and self-satisfaction. It is characterized by feelings of mastery, achievement, exhilaration, acceptance, success, personal worth, and pleasure. It reinforces a positive self-image. Recreation is a response to aesthetic experience, achievement of personal goals, or positive feedback from others. It is independent of activity, leisure, or social acceptance

Recognizing recreation’s power for good has set the stage for us to consider four ways we can more intentionally create and protect recreation. 

First, to make recreation, play, or family fun a priority, we have to believe it matters as much or more than whatever else we may choose to do with our “free time.” Simply put, we need to make it a priority and protect time for it. If we believe it matters, we will do it. 

Second, we can create space and time for recreation by minimizing distractions from media and technology. Often they fill time that could be used for more meaningful interactions. 

Third, by thinking of recreation not only as activity but also as a state of mind allows us to seek and value the rejuvenating power of brief moments of freely chosen experiences. 

Fourth, a simplified life allows more opportunities to be intentional with our time to pursue things that matter most.

Turtle Dance

This is the recording of my live set, which I played at Beate Uwe, Berlin, on 13.04.2025. I am very happy to share it with you, with the help of my friends who made it all possible.

In the beginning, I say “my history” to the crowd. I use that phrasing because, although I see humanity as one consciousness, one god that connects all, and the ego part of the human being should take up as little space as possible, there is a huge lesson I learned later in life: when it comes to responsibility, it always comes down to an individual. The purpose of a human being should be to write a history, a book that future generations might read and learn from as much as possible. The key and the difficult part of life is to live in such a way that your line of history and life doesn’t bother others or, in the best case, shares knowledge and helps others. So, each one of us has our own individual history, which is tied to our body and mind, and we use those “tools,” so to speak, to contribute to the one and strive for a better reality for loved ones around us. Only in that way can it manifest as good for other people. Now, going back to the gig, this was a big part of my history because, even though I’ve been writing songs since I was 11 years old, I started producing electronic music using Georgian folk sounds and authenticity eight years ago. The best possible community and place where I could play my work live and record it is Beate Uwe in Berlin. I received so much love and appreciation in that safe space, one could only dream of it. I feel very thankful, and the “my history” part is that this is the only live recording I have published in my life. It feels like the logical end of a cycle of eight years of work and the beginning of a new one, as I am going to play only live after this. Before, I had been playing lots of hybrid sets, but I feel very confident now that my path should continue in sharing my sound. I am very thankful for my friends and the community that made this all possible.

One note I have is that my vision while playing the live set is that I want all individual tracks to be appreciated one by one, where the listener also gets the set as a whole, but I try to play in a way that, track by track, each one has its own history, just like humans.

Warum fragt ihr? 
Na weil uns die Berliner Dauntempo-Chefköchin Katschinka (@katschikatinka) heut n Frühstücksschmankerl gezaubert hat, das seinesgleichen sucht. Da wird jede noch so geschmacksbefreite Gans zur Connaisseur*in.

Ich wecke meinen Hund mit einer Kuschel-Attacke und verschwinde dann für eine Stunde im Park.

Man könnte es durchaus erwähnen, dass ich 15 Jahre lang Polka-, Marsch-, und Filmmusik in einem Orchester gespielt habe. Man betone das Wort „habe“!

Robin Bauer, known as Psyrob, has been an integral part of the Goa scene since 2012, deeply captivated by the spirit of love and community found at its events. Initially, his focus was exclusively on Goa Trance subgenres until 2018, meticulously honing his mixing skills within this specific realm.
From 2018 onwards, Psyrob embarked on a journey of musical exploration, embracing an open-ended style that transcends specific genres. His ambition is to craft profound musical journeys and deliver messages that resonate directly with the listener's heart.
A significant spiritual turning point at the end of 2019 continues to profoundly influence his artistic expression. Psyrob wholeheartedly embraces the technological advancements of the Aquarian Age, channeling his creative energy into his music with the aim of connecting with a broader audience.
Currently, Psyrob is dedicating his talents to downtempo projects. He excels at creating live mash-ups, seamlessly blending diverse genres without limitation. His ultimate goal with each mix is to convey meaningful messages and storys, engaging directly with both the conscious and subconscious minds of his listeners.
