Sunlit skies shine brilliantly in the portal before you in an enchanting azure blue while the rays of light that cascade invisibly through them reflect from the organic curves that define a city of gleaming steel. Interwoven amidst its swooping structures stand fantastical examples of local flora, contrasting their metallic neighbors with varied viridian hues. Crowning some of these grand greenways are vibrant flowers, bursts of fuchsia, tangerine, and indigo that further accentuate the city’s naturalistic grandeur.   Indeed, so interwoven are the buildings of this great metropolis with the bindings of nature that it is difficult to discern one from another, each as interpenetrating in its essence as the waters of two rivers at a confluence. It is as though each sprung up from the other, or that those who dwell within have achieved a mastery of the twin disciplines of technological and natural understanding that few can claim to even partially possess. This city in the portal exudes an aura of bucolic peace that calls to you deeply. Will you step through and bask in its wonders?  LUIS M makes his VISION SERPENT debut with SYNTHUATION, a single that sets its listeners tumbling through the tripped-out wonders of VISION SERPENT’s sonic portals as distant synths bellow out atop a steadily thrumming bassline.

Hamburg based producer Hatzler’s EP is crafted to keep the dancefloor moving, with two original tracks and two remixes. ‘SkyT’ unfolds with a rolling groove that ascends abruptly into a throbbing, trance-inducing piece peppered with cavernous synth pads. ‘KreaT’ lays down hard hitting thumps from the get-go, doling out an undulating synth with whirring atmospherics. It’s these whirs that end up combining harmoniously with the swirling synth hook, leading to a highly anticipated peak time release. For his ‘SkyT’ remix, Sian amps up the theatrics, giving the track a dramatic dimension by infusing it with spacious reverb. Where Sian went down a more theatrical avenue, Ruiz plays down the emotion. Victor Ruiz’ take on ‘SkyT’ is a more stripped down approach, minimizing the elements and keeping the focus on the rolling bassline
