With eyes hollowed out of existence, Mr. Sheep is lost, deep in his own perplexed mind, stumbling over the memories of yesterday and the anxieties of an uncertain tomorrow. He can barely feel the skin on his face. Where is he? Who is he?

He can only hear the hums of life in this wilderness. Though his tongue is lost to him, he can hear his voice reverberating through the wood and strings, searching for salvation, another soul to listen, to speak with.

He walks deeper, hoping to feel the breeze that'll lead him to the shores of sanity. But the hums grow louder, into cacophony. Eerie, familiar sounds pierce through his ears. Wasn't that the sound of the ticking clock that hung on the wall of his broken little home? He raised the lantern to find - old habits die hard. He can't even feel the heat emanating from its flame.

There's no coming back now. He can hear the bats getting ready for the evening to end. Sanity was nowhere to be found. He stood there in the embrace of the shy moon and threw the lantern away. The flame flickered and died slowly, with hope as its partner in the grave.
