low spirits is a project that began with a few aimless production sessions, yet ended up blooming into an album that encompasses 4 years 
of personal growth, hardship, and joy. 

It's about having the courage to take risks, the process of embracing queer identity, and struggling to fall asleep. With no silences in between, these nine tracks form one coherent piece of music that features many different sound palettes; sometimes meditative, sometimes oppressive, sometimes something completely different.

I kept this pretty raw. There's a light bit of EQ, reverb, compression, and saturation, but the sound itself came entirely from Autumn Piano.

This recording was made on the 12-12 Gateway on one of the three group transmission that day. 

This 12-12 Gateway is an important marker and opportunity to send a wave of healing deep into the earth and also across the surface of the earth. This transmission is designed to send a powerful group wave to the earth as we move from one age to a new age of light. 

Our work as Starseeds is to ensure a gentle transition into the new age of light.

12:12 Transmission – Global Healing

For this song I just wanted to make something that felt kinda cozy and homey, like it's raining outside but you're all wrapped up in a blanket. The image I was trying to paint was that you're drifting in and out of sleep with the TV on in the background. This is the first song where I'm actually singing also. It's pretty chill and I think it's kinda a bop. Enjoy!
