Stroppy Pie is a musician, DJ, and promoter based in Wroclaw. It is not easy to describe the style of her music, but we can say that it is always permeated with ethnicity and natural aesthetics, which awakens inner energy. In her work, she uses live instruments (percussion, cymbals) and voices. And then everything, through sampling, effects, and synthesis, turns into one continuous experiment.

About the track:

"I focused on space as I immersed myself in the process. This is the first thing I wanted to do when I chose a working melody for myself (I chose the Litvakus-Dobranotch Karahods song). First ambient and then filling. I recorded cymbals and fifes, synthesized bird chirps, and rolled it all up with effects. My approach is always experimental: to grope, play, feel, try to mix, and then it clings to one another. There are no rules and boundaries."

Beauty of the Rhythm is the first single of the upcoming debut album by Russian duo Celebrine & Alien Delon. A classic house piano drives the track while Celebrine’s hypnotic vocals adds a melancholic layer. On the flipside Legowelt delivers a haunting remix in his trademark style, while Renkas strips it down and comes up with something that holds the middle between early electro and 90s house music.

I recorded this mix to say "muito obrigado" // "thank you so much" for all of my 5k followers, who are here to listen my stuff. I was digging some records around in the last months thinking about this mixtape including reggae, soul, funk, disco, rare world grooves, african beats to house, acid, techno. I said before about how I miss partying, trips, dance, friends, loud soundsystem. I'm very active here than another social media, working everyday, making music, running my labels to bring the best things asap. I'm so excited back to play, maybe because that I still didn't live stream (I think so boring), better have mixes available anytime for listen in everywhere. Hope you like it.
