Mary Nell Anthony is an educator who is motivated by helping all students be as successful as possible. She loves working with students to reach their highest potential and believes that high expectations paired with strong support enable that to occur.  A National Board Certified teacher, she spent 12 years in the classroom working and was awarded the C.F. Reames teaching award from Anderson University, both school and district Teacher of the Year, and the Milken Educator Award in 2005 prior to moving into an administrative role.

Bella Meisten is a Greenville Technical Charter High School senior who plans to major in International Relations. Bella is a passionate, driven student who will graduate top of her class with 58 college credits. She is heavily involved in both her school and community. Within her school, she is the President of her school's Beta Club, a captain of the Varsity soccer team, the Business Manager of Students in Action, an ambassador, and an actor in the theater department's most recent production, Our Town. Bella is committed to serving her local and school community. For her Senior Project, she is working to minimize the stigma surrounding mental health. She has created a Mental Health Awareness Week with guest speakers and other educational opportunities for students and parents. Bella is also a member of the Greenville Youth Council. Throughout high school, she has volunteered with Beck Academy's special education students, and recently, she organized a Bingo night for senior citizens. #KidsFirst #charterschool

Tamil Goodson began her educational career in the Charleston County School District in 2012 as a third-grade teacher at Chicora Elementary School. Ms. Goodson spent years as an elementary school teacher and Academic Dean before accepting her first principal position in the Meeting Street Network. Her educational philosophy is based on her uncompromising belief that all students deserve a quality education. Her passion is developing positive relationships with students and teachers, working with students as they grow, supporting teachers and staff so that they can reach their most significant potential, and fostering a positive school culture.

Dr. Ruth Chambers-Turner is an inspirational educator and leader who is the Director of the startup school Palmetto Excel Center, a pioneering public charter high school in North Charleston, SC, for adult students returning to earn their high school diplomas. Her credentials include a bachelor's degree in chemistry from Central State University, a master's degree in microbiology and immunology, and a doctorate in education. She previously held the positions of STEM Teacher on the DC Goodwill Excel Center founding team, Lead Instructor (Assistant Principal), and Director when the school expanded to two schools. Through rigorous study of adult learning theory and her extensive research on tutoring and teaching strategies that promote knowledge construction, she has become an effective coach whose passion is helping her team empower adults to reach their goal of graduation.

Currently, she is the Principal at GREEN Lowcountry.  

Bobby Rollins is an experienced educator with 17 years of dedicated service in education. As a middle school ELA teacher, Bobby cultivated a passion for student success and pursued roles as an assistant principal and principal. With keen expertise and insight earned from various positions held over the years, Bobby now serves as the Director of Teaching and Learning for GREEN Charter Schools.

Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, she was determined early on to pursue a profession in teaching, particularly with a specialty in Spanish language instruction. She achieved a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Clemson University with an emphasis in Spanish, followed by a master’s degree in Education in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. She is also credentialed in ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages). Her commitment to developing the skills of her pupils has been widely recognized throughout the State Charter District, further demonstrating her extraordinary passion for helping young minds grow and putting kids first.

Despite facing academic and environmental difficulties at his previous school, Bryson was able to complete his basic automotive certifications from the Auto Tech program in Dist. 5. He then pushed his limits and achieved all high school diploma requirements within mere four months at Midlands Middle College. Bryson's success did not stop there. He enrolled in the Automotive Technology program at Midlands Middle College and was accepted into the prestigious apprenticeship program with Apprenticeship Carolina and Jim Hudson Ford, which further validates Bryson's abilities and dedication.
