St.Petersburg Sound Systems has just recently dropped their debut mini LP marking the third release on our label. Hoavi & Tsktch are two talents behind the duo they have established back in 2015. They have been proactively pushing the boundaries of electronic music trying to stick to their own lane and focusing much less on the industry trends in the meantime. This podcast is quite a journey of their music paths with works of Hoavi and Tsktch as solo artists, live performance cuts of True Flavas band, late night studio jams and lots of other unreleased material by collaboration of the two. The cherry on top would be the unheard version of Na Udelnoj Dozhd exclusively premiered in this mix. 

The material selection is a portrait of artists’ background from their rise as solo producers to the point when they joined forces of creativity as St.Petersburg Sound Systems. Don’t expect too much kick drum in this podcast and even if you do hear one, you’ll be witnessing it in the most unusual parts of the arrangements. Although most pieces of work were made in different years and some even in decades,  dated back in mid - late 2000, it still feels like a live session recording with no timestamps as such. Music is timeless and so is their craft.

How do we approach sensuality now during this weird time of no-contact and distance regulations? How can we talk about it without experiencing its physicality? Did your idea of erotism change? What is sexy for you? And most important: Can you translate it to music?
We want to feel sensuality, we want to share our thoughts out loud, dance in the name of it till we are damn sweating, and so on and so forth.
