After the great success of Solomun’s Love Recycled EP, 2DIY4 is back with the second installment of the series. The `Various Artists’ EP showcases work by fresh talents as well as proven producers. A1 ‘Deep in the Three’ by Thyladomid &amp; Adriatique is a groovy beast with a chunky bass-line, playful organic percussion and Feist’s irresistible vocal. The track has already been receiving great response on the dancefloor. On the Flip ‘Young Girl’ a rework by Peter Kruder, member of the legendary Kruder&amp;Dorfmeister, has a more mysterious vibe. The haunting, stretched vocal is counter-parted by a catchy groove that maintains the drive to the song. B2 ‘No Giggity’ by the young australian producer Gary Todd gets the groove on. Giving a r&amp;b ultra-classic a fresh polish he creates a catchy tool for the dancefloor.

Primeira faixa do disco homônimo do trio Os Tincoãs

" Formado inicialmente por Erivaldo, Heraldo e Dadinho, todos de Cachoeira, os Tincoãs - cujo nome é originário de uma ave que habita o cerrado brasileiro - iniciou sua carreira em 1960 no programa da TV Itapoã "Escada para o Sucesso", interpretando canções, em sua maioria boleros, inspirados no sucesso do Trio Irakitan. Chegaram inclusive a gravar um disco intitulado "Meu último bolero", sem alcançar o êxito esperado. Em 1963 Erivaldo desligou-se do grupo e a este foi incorporado outro componente, Mateus, que com os demais formaria a base principal do conjunto. Renovaram o repertório e partiram para adaptar os cantos de candomblé, sambas de roda e cantos sacros católicos. Mas foram os terreiros de Candomblé que deram a base principal da musicalidade dos Tincoãs. Em 1973 gravam o segundo disco produzido por Adelzon Alves, e o primeiro como representantes legítimos da música afro-baiana, este LP é um marco importante da música brasileira, não apenas pela qualidade das músicas, como também pelo arranjo com características de coral feitos a partir de canções oriundas dos terreiros de candomblé, tendo como base apenas quatro instrumentos: violão, atabaque, agogô e cabaça. Este disco também revela o talento dos componentes como compositores, principalmente Mateus e Dadinho, que assinam a maioria das músicas.
     Um dos destaques do disco é "Deixa a gira girá", canção de origem folclórica, adaptada pelo trio com muito talento, e uma das mais executadas quando se apresentavam em público."
