this is a remix of samples from “Omara” by Tobias Reber. www.tobiasreber.com. the same pattern is repeated at different speeds, but it is time-shifted by a different amount in each track, so that the relationships between all the tracks are constantly changing.

this is the third experimental track i've created directly from the fibonacci series. it consists of a 10,000 note "hypermelody" played on a synthesized bass. the notes range from 30 cycles-per-second to just under 600. i use a modulo 4375 operation on the series so that the melody is derived from a 4375 note "scale" ranging from the lowest frequency to the highest. since i am using linear units instead of logarithmic ones, the lower intervals are bigger and the higher ones are smaller. you can hear definite themes throughout the piece, interspersed with sections that are more chaotic. enjoy!
