When Dirty Dunnz sent me this beat it instantly took me back to freestyling at Navy pier,  Columbia  College, and State St. cyphers with  people like  Juice, Kanye, Rhyme Fest, Iomos, GQ and of course my Nacrobats crew. A while ago I was flying home from from London after some amazing shows with DJ Vadim and crew. When my family picked me up from the airport and slowly informed me my dad had had a stroke and was in the hospital. It was funny up until that point I never had seen my father in that light. As he started the road to recovery, we began to talk more about everything from his medication to the new music he was into now (Lianne La Havas ) at the time. It's crazy how many pills they give you and have readily available for all that ails you... But in certain circumstances there's no medicine, no drug that can really help the situation. And in that, this song lies produced by the all live talented production duo Tensei (Plug Research). With additional buttery vocals from UK soul singer Jazz Bailley. For me I feel this is one of the best song I have ever written expressing the universal human experience in these days and times. The first  show I ever did in France was in Paris at the Nouveau Casino back in 2003. I had no Idea what to expect as kid from Englewood, my friend Thaione Davis had invited me for the trip. You always imagine the best case and worst case scenarios as a independent artist pushing your music. I was left in disbelief,they gave us  45 minutes with a sold out crowd to do  what we do best, and from that moment I found myself  stronger and ready for anything.  In this EP I wanted to capture those feeings of excitement,  discovering new people and new places. Production was handled by French producers Mr. Bibal,  Wax Mantic.
