"Five years after the first volume, ARENA01, Agva Records is back with ARENA02, a mega-pack of almost forty tracks focusing on the experimental and hybrid club scene of Latin America.

Released in 2016, the first chapter laid the foundations of the label and unveiled a solid tracklisting composed of close and local members of the collective (Defensa, EL PLVYBXY, CHLO…) and international producers (King Doudou, Bigote).

For this second edition, the label did not go easy and gathered a real festival line-up. ARENA02 features projects from all over the continent and beyond, from emerging artists to real headliners: Dengue Dengue Dengue, Lao (NAAFI, Mexico), Bungalovv (TRRUENO, Argentina), Endgame (Precious Metal, UK), Catnapp, Doxxed, Pobvio, or even the Mexican producer who signed the revival of pre-Hispanic tribal, Ozomatecuhtli. Among others!"

AGVA is a Net Label, Music Collective, Radio Show and Night Club based in Buenos Aires. Within the spawn of six years we met so many wonderful people and grew as independent artists and collective in an unprecedented way, this compilation being the visible tip of an iceberg of goals we never dream they would be realizable. We would like to seize this occasion to give thanks to all supporters, friends, family, artists, journalists, event promoters, dj's and others escaping this tags who participate and made this whole story's flow to lead us here.

Entitled "Seven Seas", this compilation welcomes several mermaids from across the continents (USA, UK, Japan, Sweden & France), freshly arriving on the HTS isle.

WRACK - Ice Breaker

Chamas Do Cerrado marks the second EP on the label by LAZA. It unites sound elements from Drum n ‘Bass, Brazilian Funk, Brega Funk, Grime, Arrocha Funk and Ambient with a clear influence of the Brazilian music scene and experimental electronic music.

The track “Cidade Abelha” is named after LAZS's origins. His hometown, Jataí, has this name due to the presence of the Jataí Bees in the territory. Located in the Cerrado (Biome) also known as the Brazilian Savannah.
In “Chamas do Cerrado” the artist decides to tell stories from places in the state of Goiás through sound. Each track is named after a different place in the region.

The intense atmosphere of “Ponte Pedra” with strong elements of Drum n ‘Bass and Arrocha Funk to invade bodies in a dancing rhythm.

In this project, the artist decides to explore the destruction of samples in search of new melodies, textures, dark beats, contagious and accelerated.

LAZA - CIDADE ABELHA

CONTURBAILE is my second EP was released yesterday by Piratão Records.

This second work brings electro and jungle techno influences, with acid synths and funk samples that mark my production style, keeping accelerated sounds and urban elements.
There are 05 tracks that were produced thinking and breathing dancefloor, distinguishing from my previous works.

And the flow doesn't stop!

“Lacraia, também conhecida como “centopeia”, são animais caçadores noturnos muito rápidos que possuem o corpo adaptado para penetrar em frestas, onde se escondem durante o dia.” 

Com a constante eliminação das existências não-normativas do planeta, pensar na artista Lacraia é lembrar de umas das primeiras figuras pretas e não normativas na TV brasileira, um choque da não cisgenesis que invadiu a vida de todas as pessoas nos anos 2000, onde as narrativas heteronormativas ocupavam (e ainda ocupam) todos os espaços possíveis. Espaços formados por estruturas binárias de comportamento que se fincaram em muitas almas, uma geração que dava muita importância a um projeto de liberdade a partir das vestes, culturas, comportamentos e estéticas, graças à revolução digital que influenciou todos os continentes.

Precisamos imediatamente apoiar artistas vives, e interromper os processos de santificação das pessoas TLGBQI+, pessoas que não escolheram a morte, e sim foram condicionadas a interromper a sua existência por conta da estrutura de humanidade em que habitamos.

Entenda que tudo que foge de uma engrenagem binária, não é bem-vinde.
TRANS, não vivem lugares de binariedade.
BIXAS, não vivem lugares de binariedade.

Será que em pleno 2020 não estamos caindo e vivendo nos mesmos sistemas excludentes? Abraçando a verdadeira miséria, e beijando o antagonismo das representatividades TLGBQI+?!
