While half of world is on lockdown, Barbés.D is currently working on his next project along Fred Buram, his old friend sax/flute player.
In the meantime, we offer you a brand new digital album only, featuring many unreleased tracks and a couple of rare tunes, taken from various vinyl only releases from the Belleville International / Patate Records label.
Barbés.D is a long time French reggae activist. He has worked with many international reggae-dub singers featured on this album, such as Joseph Cotton (Jamaica), El Fata (England), or Mo’Kalamity, Don Camilo, S’Kaya and Little R (France).
His productions, a mix of digital jamaican dub and more progressive electronic sounds, have been played by various famous sound system all over the world (Jah Shaka, Aba Shanti-I, Channel One ou King Shiloh) or used by main-stream artists such as Biga Ranx on the track Zig Bag.

Introducing the next in-line release from the Forward Bound series with another production - featuring the artist Ras Teo  alongside Ashanti Selah. This one manages to encapsulate the vibes of yet an all-time Abyssinians favourite which makes reference to a very iconic narrative of 'Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego' and their mystical journey through the fiery furnace.

The production comes complete on a 7" Vinyl press with a full vocal and dub version to give it the fullest of transitioning from the '70s right up to the present day; with added sax features led by one of the best renowned musicians in the UK Dub scene, Digistep (from the highly-respected, Bristol duo - Dubkasm).
