We told you 4K was talented, and we weren’t lying! After introducing you to his stunning “Peace Of Mind” single, which saw the artist lay down his own vocals over his production, we’re very happy to reveal the track was taken from 4K’s debut EP, Not 4 The Industry.

Featuring four more productions shining a light on the versatility of 4K as a producer, this year-long project is arguably his most complete body of work yet. From the rolling liquid of “Desire” and “Fears” with Conni, to the dancefloor slapping basslines of “Industry” and “Selekta” – an energy 4K fans know him all too well for, and will have likely thrown a gun finger at when these tunes were road tested at Boomtown last year.

At Born On Road, one of the things we love is seeing the artists we work with grow their abilities to crazy levels, and we have no doubt 4K is going to follow a similar trajectory.

We tried to warn you what Jenks was capable of when we brought you “Sound The Alarm” last week, but for those who didn’t get the message, four more Jenks tunes should do the trick! Landing on Born On Road with a full EP, this release is a shining example of why the murmurs around Jenks’s talent are growing louder within the underground drum and bass scene. Whether it’s his beefy link up with fellow newcomer SMG on “Origin” or the heavy shelling of “Last Breath”, it’s hard to deny Jenks’s knack for creating sounds that are big, in your face and worthy of the praise he’s getting. This year is going to be a big one for Jenks, trust us.

Hailing from Helsinki in Finland, Physics has been busy for years producing, DJing, and running his own music label, Midnight Sun Recordings. He is looking to release music that's genuine and has done so since his first release back in 2003. His productions have been released on the scene's most seminal labels including Metalheadz, Liquid V, Hospital, Fokuz, Formation, MAC II and Secret Operations just to mention a few. His productions have seen dj support from the likes of Randall, Goldie, DJ Storm, Bryan Gee, LTJ Bukem, DJSS, Pendulum, A.M.C and many more. He is constantly pushing music out on his own Midnight Sun label and is also working on an artist collaboration project called "Midnight Sons" together with long-time companion Christian Champagne. In the studio, he has previously worked with names such as S.P.Y, Alix Perez, Seba and Phil Source (Source Direct) and XRS.

DJing wise, Physics likes to play the whole spectrum of drum & bass and he likes to build sets that take the listener on a journey. You can be sure to hear dubplates of him and his peers in his sets that are always oozing of soulful deepeness but still maintaining a dancefloor edge to them!
