Feeding Funky, Fragile, Faded Freedoms

This song is about the juxtaposition that any existing thing may have with its own cosmic evolution and how echoic cycles of life are the cause and the outcome of psychic/psychological/mind-manifesting experiences and phenomena (IE: effects/affecting karma, motions through samsara, and other various addictions, including but not limited to hermetic inclinations
towards nature and reincarnation).
Simply, this song is about the effect of any decision.

Cognitive Dissonance

This is the last track of our album, going into the first track. The song is depicting the protagonist as reaching for the light, close to a restive release from the scales of judgment, and then reincarnating as his most favorable form: a mayfly (extremely short life, spanning only a day to reproduce) after which, coming back to the same state of the original black hole that swallowed him after his named human life. 
This track was recorded live at Metro 37 Studios.

In the Shape of a Painting- Black Hole Information Paradox

The virulent vehemence of human perdition dances to verses of infinite romantic versions of itself, being played back and relayed as the contrition of its limited sin in accumulation )f improvisations attributed to the flight of all wealth and affluence. Hence this is reminiscence to the rent we pay for being the few who fall faster, fading in Michigan's conveyance of its laments' stated vehemence. 
Hark, throw down the expounded sound of motown while we slow it down and remind you that good times never really leave but a mark.

The Vanguard Voodoo In Motown

The theme of this song is based in ideas from a Jorge Luis Borges short story titled, "The Wait." 
In this piece the protagonist exists as a homonymous facsimile of his enemy in a state of reality that destines his death at the hand of his doppelgänger over and over, as though in a dream begotten through false awakening.

The Wait

This is the eighth track of out debut album, "What Do You Want?"
It is in this track that the protagonist, Xane, fully realizes his dimensional form as a dual-octeract: two physically eighth-dimensional shapes, geometrically multi-visible and aware of themselves being connected through a calabi-yau manifold. He then tries to paint this. 

Eighth-Dimensional Blues

This song is a pop tune on our debut album that juxtaposes the spirit of Xane (protagonist) with alternate physical existences that his life as a star had manifested. In each of these short instances he suffers mortal death and is faced with the awareness of his spiritual transience in limbo between higher dimensions.

A dominant progressive rock band with serious convictions to the advancement of Michigan's DIY movement, Pulp Culture has proved itself to be an important beneficiary to not only the Metro-Detroit music scene, but also to the growth of the community. The band is known for its charitable contributions toThe Greening of Detroit,Help for Our Disabled Troops, Pesticide Action Network, and Save Japan Dolphins. Pulp Culture has opened for national acts, including the Misfits, TesseracT, Intronaut, and Cult of Luna. Their first, full-length release, "What Do You Want?"  was published on January 30th, 2014, and has been called "awesome eclectic stuff; it's a fantastic mix of 70s prog in the vein of King Crimson, modern psychedelic rock, math rock and jazz-funk [...] (a) crystal-line masterpiece" (http://bit.ly/RTAQmz) The album, recorded at Metro 37 Studios in the Fall of 2013, is a science fiction rock opera with personal depth and a transcendental message.
