Le label nantais Cane Corso Records brise les frontières pour la sortie de son 3ème various annuel : « Cave Canem ». Réunissant des artistes locaux·ales et internationaux·ales tels que Some Guest, DJ Physical ou encore Cimarròn, le projet fusionne les genres pour proposer une compilation qui s’inscrit dans l’identité hybrid club du label. Neo-jersey, jungle, bass music ou encore dub techno, Cave Canem est un voyage sonore global où chaque morceau raconte une collision de styles et d’influences, affirmant une vision libre et collective. À l’image de «Digital Thug», la track du DJ et producteur irlandais qu'on vous fait découvrir en avant-première sur Technopol. Une production à l'esthétique electro et breakbeat marquée; terrain de jeu favori du DJ. Nokia Balistikz blends club-focused sound design with experimental structures, moving between broken rhythms, heavy bass, and textural detail. Rooted in the aesthetics of the Bern underground, the album reflects a DIY approach that values rawness, and sonic unpredictability.

The production relies on a combination of analog and digital techniques, using samplers, drum machines, and synthesizers, with a strong focus on 90s sample CDs and hardware as both sound sources and creative tools. It integrates elements from Rap, Drill, Baile Funk, and experimental electronic music. Field recordings, vocal fragments, and ambient noise are layered into the compositions, with intentional roughness and looseness playing a central role in the aesthetic.
