Black Fluo emerges from a centre of intersecting lines, the middle point of flowing destinies each on a one way journey.
Fluorescent darkness is the primal texture from which this trio from Chiasso, constructs their resonances and melodies. An outlandish mix between electronic and classical music, contaminated with diluted frequencies from the sidereal space and the ancient layers of dead languages.
Black Fluo observes from the monolithic tower the slow inevitable end of things, a world of potsherds to which they play its beauty.
The last sparks of a supernova.

Tiresias is Niton's second album. It contains material collected and elaborated in little more than a year, fifteen months of intensive existential and poetic distress for each of the three members. 
Compared to their first album, the communal musical attitude has evolved: the forms are more defined, the spaces are diluted, the sequence rhythmics have acquired more prominence, the instrumentation has amplified through new machines as for example the Theremin (the mellow glossy antenna) or the Memorymoog (the most powerful polyphonic synth). 

Tiresia is greek mythological foreseer who lived for seven years of his life in the body of a woman. When Era – wife of Zeus – asked him whether sexual pleasures were stronger as a man or as woman, Tiresias replied without hesitation that if the pleasure of love was made up of ten parts, the woman would have nine and the man only one. Furiously she blinded him. 
Tiresias is the only being to have incarnated the profound opposites. He experienced the unpleasant truth and told it. He overturned the the commonplace. Blinded, he saw beforehand the desert ruins of the human being. 
These are the lands that Niton has recorded.

Rudy Decelière et Marcel Chagrin have known each other for many years, each experiencing a singular mutual tacit comprehension like a kind of silent brotherhood. In 2014 the occasion to work together was met by a carte-blanche commission to Marcel Chagrin by the Film Festival of Locarno, CH. They decided to call themselves New Routines Every Day and recorded their first album You Never Know What Is Enough / Unless You Know What Is More Than Enough.
They prepared their first concert during a session in a studio in Lausanne where the sounds of Rudy Decelière encompassed mind soundscapes while the melodies of Marcel Chagrin suggested the narration. Together a cinematographic universe was created without images and without words which asks the listener to create his/her own story and film frame.

About the record
You Never Know What Is Enough / Unless You Know What Is More Than Enough (title taken from William Blake) was written and recorded on analog in 2015 during an intensive week in Lausanne, Switzerland, by Antoine Etter (Sophie Hunger, The Young Gods). Through its technical and aesthetic choices, the composition and the recording of the work are intimately linked by many constraints: the analog sound directly mixed to stereo, the limited duration of the magnetic tapes and the limited duration of the vinyls, etc. necessarily involve particular attention to the final piece of work, without the possibility of cuts, mixing, or any further improvement. What is recorded is what will be heard!
In addition to these voluntary constraints, the recording pays particular attention to the possibility of a cinematographic narrative. Each piece is composed as a result of the previous one for the sake of coherence of the whole. One could almost say that each piece is a sequence shot. In the end, the film is infinite: it is a consequence of the involvement of the work with the imagination of the listener.

Dust and ashes can look the same – an undefined gray sand – but if you take a closer look they are very different.Dust is sedimentation of time, measurement of becoming, reflecting calmness.
