The game I've probably put the most time into is now 15 years old! Pokémon Diamond and Pearl has some incredible music and to celebrate this occasion, I present to you my rendition of the lake theme! I was inspired to do this when a friend of mine re-created the map for lake verity, it looks very cool and I wanted to do the same for the music.

Woo! It is good to be back! I've been in a somewhat unstable living environment for the past few months, couple that with school and other stressors that leaves barely any time for moosik stuffs. Regardless though I am back and ready to share what I've been working on!

Altitude is a very very nice track and when finding the stems again a very strong feeling of nostalgia came with them. I initially downloaded them in 2017 when a remix contest for the track was announced, but I never did anything with them. After playing around with them for a little bit I ended up with a draft of what you're hearing now! I hope you enjoy this because there's plenty more to come soon :D

This is my first solo original in quite some time and I'm really happy with how this turned out! This project was born from a slow day at work and for once instead of forgetting about it within 5 minutes, I got it down on paper and recreated it when I got home. I absolutely love how this turned out and I would love to do more like this in the future!

This is also the first of the singles for my upcoming album "Metamorphosis", which should (if all things go well) come out this winter!

I played Super Paper Mario again and I realized how much I underappreciated the Castle Bleck soundtrack so I played around with it a bit and got a prototype of what you hear now. Because it turned out horribly I put the project aside for 2 long years. I tried again about a month ago working off of past me's efforts and this is the result. :)

Part of me is afraid that by "I'm done" I mean I've run out of patience to make it better, but everything can improve. Every project you start will never truly be finished because it will always be better. There were three iterations of this cover, meaning I started from scratch thrice with three similar but slightly different ideas. This is the third iteration and the one I worked the most on. I've listened through this too many times to catch new errors, or at least ones that matter to me. I am happy as it is. It is not perfect and never will be and it can always be better. I have finally accepted that about this project. I started this in early 2017. I discarded the first iteration because it could never be perfect. My 2017 self screwed this one up and it could never get better. That's what I thought at the time. I took a slightly different route with the second iteration in mid-2018. At that point I was at my rock-bottom and so I had no real motivation to work on it more than just a section or two. The third iteration was created in spring of 2019. I worked on it plenty because I now had a lot more free time. I spent a good chunk of my time on this project. Now I am done with it, I am satisfied with it, and I have reached the end of my motivation to work on this any further. I hope you enjoy this one :)
