All of the records I play in this set are the fruits of a rich, cultural heritage achieved by the Black, Latin American & Queer communities of Chicago, Detroit, New York & across the USA during the late 70s, 80s, 90s & still going. 

I am amazed that while living under oppression, discrimination & segregation, these communities forged a culture of Unconditional Love & Empowerment.

Disco, House & Techno music is Unconditional Love & Empowerment. 

Since we adopted this beautiful culture we have a responsibility to be Loving & Empowering in return. Especially towards the artists & communities who have spent decades developing it. They are again being neglected & exploited by an industry that profits off of their achievements. 

Let's publicly acknowledge & study the origins of Underground Club Culture. 
Let's be humble cultivators of a worldwide music family.
Let's build transatlantic bridges to connect with the source. 
Otherwise we're growing branches without roots.
