I finally used Sonika agin! How've you been, buddy? It's been a year and a half! Oh how the time flies.

Except for the fact that I had no idea what this song was about until I wrote the lyrics for the chorus (a.k.a like 6 hours ago) but now it's got a spiffy little story! fun fact, this song was started around the time I was working on 5AM, but the instrumental was way different than it is now. It was really basic and empty sounding so I ended up scrapping it for a while. Lately, I picked it back up, fixed the inst, and here we are! Maika is such a good girl.

Shoutout to Yoppy for giving me Maika as a birthday gift!! It's been 9 months but I've finally used her for something. She's amazing and I've used her for like a million things, but none of them besides this have been published yet lol.

Also, this is a step outside my comfort zone! I never really write fast songs and I definitely don't write fast lyrics, so that was a fun experiment! Heck yea.

HELLO HI HI it's new song time! I'm very excited about this new song and I hope you are too

SO this song has a wild story behind it. I wrote this song, like, six months ago? But, I originally planned on having Avanna sing it. Because of how soft she is and how loud this song gets, I absolutely DIED when trying to mix the vocals. I didn't touch the song for months, until it hit me that I could use Gumi instead.

I also struggled with the art a lot. I streamed drawing PV art twice, and both time I had radically different PV ideas. I scrapped both and went with this instead because multi-picture PVs kill me.

Sorry for any weird moments in the tuning, this was originally tuned for Avanna and by the time I realized mixing would be 345830948 times easier if I switched the singer to Gumi I had ran out of emotional energy to completely rehaul the tuning :'D I basically only fixed the glaring errors but I did miss a couple kind of grating parts, so again I'm sorry!

Also, I have another song coming out soonish! The song is mostly finished, but I'm collabing with someone with the PV so it will be a multi-pic PV and it will be so cool

I hope you'll check out the YT upload because this song is the first one I've written since 5AM with a full-blown PV (And I didn't draw the art for 5AM, but I did for this one!) I'm really proud of the work I put into it as well as how it turned out so I hope you like it, too.

This is also my first song in like 45803945834 where I added harmonies that aren't just an octave up or down LMAO so there's that too. I also wrote this differently, starting with the vocal melody and chords instead of the lead instrument! So tl;dr this was me experimenting a little bit
