Kicking off our Assembly Mix Series ahead of our inaugural event on 28th November at Meraki, Liverpool we’re excited to introduce the first of our four residents: Andy Morrison, aka The Cyclist, with a genre-blending journey through house, garage, breaks, bass and techno.

An Irish, UK-based producer and DJ known for his analogue, psychedelic club sound, @thecyclistbuzludzha draws from a huge range of influences; Krautrock, 60s psychedelia, early Chicago house, techno, jungle and dub. With his signature use of extreme tape distortion, he’s carved out some of the most visceral yet cerebral dancefloor music of the past decade, releasing on iconic labels including Stones Throw, Leaving Records, 100% Silk, Hypercolour, and All City Records.

Fresh off the release of his vinyl-only 12" Sublimity (already selling out in shops worldwide) and just back from his first Paris gig, he brings us an eclectic and immersive start to the series.

Irish, Liverpool-based DJ Emmett G delivers the third instalment of our Assembly Mix Series.

Known for his versatile and well-respected selections, Emmett has performed across an impressive range of lineups throughout the UK and Ireland, from intimate listening bars to dark basements and club rooms. Recent highlights include joining the bill with Dresden for The Sirens Call.

He also holds a residency on Svara Radio, where his sets explore the fringes of techno, electro and beyond.

This mix leans into faster tempos, gliding from cold electro into bleepy techno, offering a taste of what to expect to hear at Meraki, Liverpool next Friday.
