Dani is an up-and-coming DJ from Barcelona that has only started mixing a few months ago. He is a major fan of everything dark in between darkwave and industrial techno. 

Under his alias noralb, he plays sets that are deeply rooted in the dark and heavy synths of ebm and the raw punching kicks of industrial techno.

This set is an example of just that, starting with classic ebm songs from artists like The Horrorist, Andi, or Milimetric in the first half of the set, leading into a second half meant to keep you dancing until the very end to the stomping beats of 140bpm industrial techno.

The last song in particular is meant to be a memory of the raw energy of the concert of Fotocopia that he saw live a few months back.

Substencia est une musicienne, productrice et DJ basée à Paris. Son parcours mélomane l'a rapidement amenée à s'impliquer dans la scène électronique sous diverses formes : labels, webzines et organisation d'événements. Depuis 2017, elle crée des productions musicales techno industrielle sombre, infusées de beaucoup de cinématiques, collages, sons noise, sorties sur plusieurs EP, compilations et remixes sur des labels comme Instinkt, Coup, Subverted, Culture of Violence, Durch, Drec, ou encore le label suédois Kallkällan où elle a sorti en 2022 son troisième EP soutenu par de nombreux artistes internationaux.

Très personnelle et instinctive, son approche de la musique s'est développée au fil des années par une pratique et une écoute constantes. Musique industrielle pure, dark ambient, techno old school UK et musique baroque : ses nombreuses influences donnent à ses sets une dimension cinématographique, organique et intense. Depuis 2021, elle fait partie du duo post-industriel noise Kabocha, qui vient de sortir son premier EP, Human Exceptionalism sur son propre label et a commencé à se produire en live. Elle a également fondé le webzine Rust.

Substencia - Live Mixe @ Mute Radio #3 - Dec 2024

@staticghostmusic est une force montante de l'EBM et de l'underground industriel. Il mélange des rythmes percutants, des lignes de basse brute et une énergie viscérale. 

Enraciné dans le nord-ouest du Pacifique, Static Ghost c'est connaître en se produisant dans des festivals comme SINTH à Portland et Verboden à Vancouver. Il a pu également se produire aux côté de groupes internationaux comme @ultrasunn, @damearea et @sexualpurityband lors de leurs tournées aux États-Unis.

Avec un album de remixes récemment sorti avec @qual_official, @leaetherstrip, Damascus Knives et un album complet prévu pour mars 2025 sur Verboden. Static Ghost est en train de se faire un nom comme l'un des artistes les plus prometteurs de la scène mondiale de l'EBM. Pour les amateurs de musique sans compromis, sombre et dansante.

ATRIUM CAST 035: STATIC GHOST

@alfaer, un anagramme créé dans le but de synchroniser différents esprits à un moment unique. AlFaer est régulièrement présent sur les plateaux du Gare Club à Porto et a sa propre résidence dans l'organisation culturelle @alinea_a. 

Il est également le fondateur de @rapture-wav, un label musical et promoteur d’événements axé sur des styles musicaux tels que l’EBM, la Dark Wave ainsi que d’autres sonorités industrielles et mélancoliques qui gravitent autour du Techno. 

En dehors de cela, il a toujours été un adepte de l’esthétique de l’obscurantisme, cherchant la transversalité à travers les différents styles qui couvrent la musique électronique. Les atmosphères denses et déconcertantes de ses compositions transforment rapidement n'importe quelle piste de danse en un lieu de culte pour l’irrévérence et la liberté musicale.

Moshnia is a DJ duo from Finland with a growing curiosity for multidisciplinary art. While their journey began with DJing, their interests have since expanded to complementing their DJ sets with audio-reactive visual art and exploring the production of their own music.

Heavily influenced by the darker side of electronic music and inspired by EBM-fueled techno, Moshnia strives to create a bleak yet captivating atmosphere on the dance floor.

Asymetric80, the stage name of Barcelona-based DJ and producer Gonzalo Sendón, is renowned for his unique fusion of vintage and contemporary electronic music. His work spans genres such as EBM, New Beat, and early Trance, creating a distinctive sound that resonates with both nostalgia and modernity. His DJ sets and live performances are defined by high energy and a strong connection with the audience, making every show an electrifying experience.

Over the years, he’s released three highly praised EPs on labels like @aspectohumano, @hc_records_hypnotica_colectiva, and @oraculo_records, and has contributed remixes for artists around the world.

Puritan: “This is the first part of my contribution to the Lightvessel Transmission, dedicated to one of my earliest inspirations, John Juan Mendez, who sadly left us last year. While it carries some personal, hidden meanings, I leave it up to the listener to carve their own story from it. I’ll just share the backstory behind the 1980s photograph Mujer Ángel, taken in the Sonora Desert by Mexican photographer Graciela Iturbide:

I went with a group to a cave where there are indigenous paintings. I took just one picture of this woman during the walk there. I call her Mujer Ángel because she looks as if she could fly off into the desert. She was carrying a tape recorder, which the Seris got from the Americans, in exchange for handicrafts such as baskets and carvings, so they could listen to Mexican music".
