With releases on Crosstown Rebels, Hot Creations and BPitch Control, it's safe to say Venezuelan-originating, Barcelona-based duo Fur Coat are backed by some real key players.

Last year's 'There's No Time' EP on Jamie Jones and Lee Foss' HC was a proper smash, with the title track a certainty to mess with your mind. That followed the 'U Turn' EP on Damian Lazarus' Crosstown, a tasty four-tracker of sizzling grooves.

Soon they make their debut for Balance, mixing the 'Balance presents Fur Coat' compilation featuring cuts by DJ Koze, Francesca Lombardo, Roman Flügel and a couple from themselves.

One hundred. Three digits. Finally we've made it and we're proud to announce that we've reached a milestone that every label aims for: the one hundredth release in a continous sequence of catalogue numbers. And what a journey it has been over the course of the past eight years. To celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime event no-one less than Marco Resmann himself comes up with a dedicated 12“ single that's not only named „100“ but also comes as a special gold vinyl edition plus gold label prints and seethrough packaging that makes this record stick out amongst many in each and every vinyl lovers collection as well as in every DJ case. The original version of „Hundert“ is a big room monster of a TechHouse tune, providing maximum tension through scattered shakers, carefully arranged synth sweeps and long, strident build ups introducing dark, psyched out and proggy bass and midrange warps leading towards an ultimate climax whenever this tune is hammered through a club rig. On the flipside we see the 'Jubiläums Mix' of „Hundert“ following intense spiralling basslines all through the course of the night whilst layers and layers of ecstatic stabs and a continuous swell of uplifting, positive synths introduces crowds to high-octane levels of buzzing dancefloor energy. What a blast.

Berlin legend Marco Resmann returns to Poker Flat Recordings with the Olympia EP - four tracks of his signature finely-crafted house music. Resmann’s status within the house and techno scene is well established, and these tracks emphasize why he’s so respected as a DJ, producer and label owner. 

First on the winner's podium is 'Olympia' - a  firing tech house monster with acidic undertones and a crisp, driving rhythm section.

'Discus' also hits the mark - a bubbling, trippy roller that layers precise percussion over evolving, unwinding bass grooves and synth explorations.

'Equal' is up next - maintaining Resmann’s reputation for total understanding of dancefloor dynamics - the tension is kept constant via the balancing of tightly wound melodic loops, bubbling acid and compact drums.

Closing out the EP - 'Javelin' takes flight with a tough tech workout, flexing its ample rhythmic muscle and suggesting that Resmann is in peak competitive form.

Berlin based DJ and producer Marco Resmann steps up on Upon.You to release his Voyager EP, featuring the deep and rolling techno track ‘Glide’.
 
With releases on respected imprints like Poker Flat and Watergate, Resmann steps up on Upon.You, the label he co-founded and leads the A&R department. With roots in Berlin his brand of techno fuses hypnotic elements to create an enveloping atmosphere and his new material is a clear example of this.
 
‘Glide’ is a smooth anthem with a dark motif, as heavy bass lays the foundation for a rolling sawtooth synth line to carry through eerie textures. It’s clearly a dancefloor weapon, one that will be in high demand on the club circuit.
 
The Voyager EP also includes three more originals from Resmann and is set for release June 19.
