Danny Wolfers (most frequently known as Legowelt) is a producer and performer who has worn many hats, all of them styled with finesse. His range is immense but never disparate; through releases for Clone, L.I.E.S., Creme Organization and Peoples Potential Unlimited (among others) Legowelt has spanned everything from frosty techno, sprawling boogie and melodic acid house to chugging electro without sacrificing bonafide quality or pandering to the fad du jour. In his newest effort, a debut EP for Fotomachine’s Technicolour imprint entitled Anaconda Flow, listeners are treated to that dynamism in its very finest form. Uplifting, dreamy synth sequences are incorporated alongside his instantly recognizable gritty floor-fillers for a four-piece package that will both delight the home listener and devastate the dance. His long-demonstrated devotion to hardware is utilized here to extraordinary effect: blips bubble to a murky surface, twinkles cascade from above and a kick drum pulses straight through everything it touches—all in all a darkly immersive little jewel, though who would have expected any less?

2015 was a seminal year for Joe Ashworth, with the release of his debut artist album ‘Grain’ on respected London imprint Needwant. Earning widespread support from leading tastemakers John Digweed, Anja Schneider, George Fitzgerald, Jonas Rathsman, B. Traits, Mano Le Tough and Detroit Swindle, as well as acclaim from the likes of DJMag, making it into their coveted Top 20 album list of 2015.

‘Lost’ is the follow up to last years Anjuandeep fan favourite ‘Rebound / Whatever Weather’, a double-sided melodic gem featuring an epic original mix as well as a stripped-back rework from rising UK talent Matt Karmil. The original mix combines subtle textures and bouncing grooves with a show-stopping melodic breakdown, swirling through cinematic soundscapes and sparkling arpeggios. A big dancefloor moment.

Matt Karmil has stormed the underground in recent times, with two acclaimed artist albums under his belt in the past 12 months, championed by the likes of Boiler Room, XLR8R and Resident Advisor. Combined with his memorable remixes for Kompakt, Freerange and Studio Barnhaus, it’s no wonder he’s been supported by the likes of DJ Koze and Michael Mayer. Karmil’s remix of ‘Lost’ expertly highlights the fluidity and maturity of his production, blending sparse atmospherics with the bright and emotive sentiments of the original.

Having flown round the world taking his deep, groove-heavy brand of emotional house to a spectrum of countries, Route 8's introspective studio process has produced his finest work to date. A varied body of house works that segues from early Chicago to bumpin' French touch, serious Cafe Del Mar lounge & trumpet vibes and some seriously spacey synth work with a trance-y edge.

We are so glad to share "From the Valley", 2nd track of the EP. A sweet and colourful track, made up with groovy synth notes and vibrant beats.

Much like the colourful cobbled streets and lush rolling hills of his hometown of Tbilisi, Georgian-native Gacha Bakradze’s music is characteristically rich, distinct, and seductive. With his previous releases on the iconic Apollo Records praised by Pitchfork and Resident Advisor, Gacha is a stalwart of the Georgian electronic scene. Previously featured on ‘Anjunadeep Explorations 02’ in 2016, Gacha now returns with his upcoming EP - ‘Restless’.

From his nuanced command of subtle arpeggio plucks, to his careful construction of sensuous atmospheres, ‘Restless’ epitomises Gacha’s in-depth musical knowledge and production skills.

Title track ‘Restless’ is a journey through syncopated sixteenths and reverberated jungle sounds, where bongos echo off a grooving sub bass. ‘Image’ is lustrous and bright, accentuating a well-rounded bassline alongside celestial plucks. The Earth Trax remixes introduce a lo-fi aesthetic, taking it back to the old school with wide sampled breaks and 303 synthlines.

The final track, ‘Contactless’, is a Balearic ballad, its meloduious arpeggios and dark drones reminiscent of retro 80’s soundtracks, deep dreams, and early-morning walks home. ‘Restless’ is released on both digital and vinyl, Friday, 29th July.
